UPDATE!!!

The project has FINALLY come to an end, it's been a long ride when it shouldn't have as many parts were out of stock and I had to play the waiting game....so boring. Anyway, time to enjoy the beast now.....well, not quite since my G.Skill 128gb SSD died, time to play the "game" again and send it back! A Temp hard drive will do for the time being though.

I'd just like to thank everyone for their kind and constructive comments, it really makes building computers a ball since you get to read other people's thoughts.

The final pictures really didn't work as well as I planned, the green tubes came out with too much white in, if anyone knows how to fix this (In Photoshop maybe?) please let me know, I don't think my cheap digital camera coped too well.

Very nice! :)

Nice job on coming up with an original color scheme. The wiring looks good as you've offset the green with the black nicely. I also like how you have your tubing routed as it forms some nice curves/shapes. The only thing I don't like is that very tight bend that you have going from the pump to your res as it looks like the tubing is kinking a little, and the pump sits a little crooked because of it. But a great job, overall. Very neat.

Yeah, the tubing is a tiny bit kinked but I couldn't get it any straighter, the pump is a little offset as it is hitter the rubber grommet behind it but I can't move the pump forward because of the tubing.

Question > Why not have the tubing go in the GPU first, then to the CPU. Seems like a long tube. (Just me being critical, don't take it to heart)

Yeh I don't particularly like the tube routing. Especially when the water temp will be almost the same regardless and a shorter loop will have more benefit anyway!

What kind of tubing are you using there? i've bought primochill tubing myself, and it looks veery "green'ish", and has a very strong green colour to it.
Again: Love your rig! it turned out awesome ;-)

Nice job on THE HULK, James.

I played around with a couple of your pics in LightRoom. Green is really difficult to get right. Adjusted Luminance and Saturation and this is what I came up with:

LOL ... just trying to show James that he can adjust the color in the green tubing by playing around with a few settings in Lightroom or Photoshop. A bit difficult to work with compressed jpegs. Also, you can see from his originals that the color of the green tubing is definitely affected by how the light is hitting it. Very difficult to get green tubing to show up as in real life (and consistent from photo to photo) particularly with internal case lighting. Hopefully the more experienced photographers here can give him some hints. I too think he did a stellar job :up:

I Have the PrimoChill tubing and in Real Life it looks MUCH greener, it's the way the pictures were taken it looks whitish.

Thanks Shazza! There was no direct light other than the Lamptron LED's in the case, the tubing right not looks fine it's just that it mucks up when the camera takes a shot, no idea why, may be something with white balance etc...? Thanks for the tip too! I'll look into that.

F**K, I just heard almost like a spark sound and the computer turned off, now, there is no power to the motherboard as the lights don't turn on. It seems to be that the PSU has F#&KING died, it better not have taken the components with it! There goes $200 worth of sleeving and hours of work....I'm off to work so I can test it until later but it looks like the hulk has died :(

jeez, it's sad to hear about this especially when the product is new and you just finished sleeving it.

Contact Silverstone for RMA replacement, maybe they will do it without asking for the modular cables lol

Sorry to hear it dingdong... :(

been following you log silently and your build is beautiful hopefully you can get it up soon and not go crazy resleeving a new PSU if that is the problem.

Thanks guys.

Sadly I can't test if its killed my other things yet as I don't have a PSU powerful enough.

I may end up selling the case and getting a Corsair to save some funds, what do you think?

That PSU is full modular no ? Can't you just send it back without the sleeving job ? Or try to find a new one (i know you had trouble getting this one) and RMA the bad one with the new cable then re-sell once fixed :) (hoping you did not mess up something in the wiring while sleeving)
