Yes, I agree that the unhidden thing is very easy. My problem is all the "XXXXXX"'s in
the Epox bioses. What is with that? Can you get around it so I can see the actual
String Values?

most off epox bios there is not much hidden features sometimes there is no hidden thing also..
try look into gigabyte bios... lotsa thing u can enable them.... try play with dat spectrum.exe file.... if can get it right... memory bandwith does boost up....
milk dat oem0 file dude.... Epoz 8RDA+/NF7S/DFI infinity they hav this file...
:toast:
oh ya 1 more thing look deeper in to dat _EN_CODE.Bin files as
latest NF7/DFI infinity
they put those vital setting init
FSB, voltage, multiplier...
wish u luck dude:toast:
In the Epox bioses there are alot of disabled features that are XXX's, should I enable
those too? Another thing: I am trying to mod the Epox 8K5A3+ bios for a friend... he
is testing it for me. He wants to be able to lock his agp/pci (duh). Should I just enable
everything disabled and set the agp/pci option (which is normally uneditable) to editable?
Would that do it?
Also, what can I use to open _EN_CODE.bin and f00l around with it, also what can I
use to f00l around with spectrum.bin? I can't seem to get those files to do anything...
maybe you have sth for bh7 ? :)
riiight, what language is that in. Isn't bh7 a type of rams, as for "sth", ya got me :stick:
:)
abit bh7
sth = something :)
So how exactly do you make a modded bios... I can enable features and change setting on startup sometimes, but I would like to know how to do cooler stuff then that.
Also, will someone mod the Epox 4PCA3+ Rev 2.2 bios? I don't know how much there is to mod, I can see for myself that there arn't many hidden features, past that I do not know anyhting - but I wan't to, so any into anyone can give me is GREATLY appreciated.
email me this bios...Quote:

how many vcore, vdd n vdimm u want? i will mod it for ya:toast:
I would like to know how to do it myself as well, but here is the bios: HERE - just extract it, it is in there.
I wasn't under the impression that you can change anything... but if I am wrong tell me (and tell me how to change it!) I would like higher default voltages for the first boot, and I would like whatever else you can give me.
... yup u r right... there is nothing i can do on its vcore thing
sorry... :(
Did you just look for hidden options?! I want to know what I can do beyond that...?
davedude... it takes time to mess up with higher biod mod like multis n vcore setting
i am sure 1 day from now u will mess up bios modding with this file
thank you,
tictac

Most likely it is unavailable due to GeoChities policy of bandwidth usage, simply put it has been hammered to much and is temporarily not available try in a few hours.Quote:

Can anyone mod this Bios ( http://tw.giga-byte.com/Download/Dow..._7n400l_f6.exe )
for the Gigabyte GA-7N400-L?
If someone can please add more voltage to Vdimm, Vcore and if it works Vdd. Also please unlock the Memory Timings, i cant change any Timings.
I tried a modded Bios from Malaysia, but the +0.3V Vdimm only increase to 2.75V. With EasyTune4 i get up to 2.85V. Also there is no chance to change Mem Timings.
hi!
im searching a bois for my epox 8rda3+, which is able to push my vdimm to 3,2v. i do not know if its possible, but i am afraid of the vdimm mod, i am not a soldering master and i will sh*t my pants cutting the two layers. :D
i have searched with google for hours and i did not find anything.
thanks in advance, masterpain
p.s. please excuse my poor english. :)
Ahhh, Masterpain, otherwise known as "Betty":DQuote:

I too, would be interested in an 8RDA3+ bios that not only improves the undervolting of the Vcore and Vdimm, but also correctly reports the V3.3 figure. And yes, a higher Vdimm setting would be great (though I doubt it exists) The Vmem mod is just too risky on these "Eposh" boards. My old NF7-s would alllow me to hit 233 fsb with tight timings on the mem. With my 8RDA3+ (v1.1:( ) it falls over at around 226fsb, i've even fitted a Vantec iceberq to the Northbridge, but no joy.
tictac:
I downloaded your modded Abit BH7 bios from Underclock, but I was wondering if you have had any feedback from users that have tried it and have let you know if it works.
If it does, you would be my OC savior! I really need that extra Vdimm voltage. Thanks a million bro :D
