you can use spiflash to crossflash bios's

create a bootable usb key or similar and once in dos mode, flash using the command
spiflash.exe EX58EXm.F8x

Crossflashed a min ago my EX58-UD5 to the Extreme F8X bios from Pyr0, works like a charm.

Remember, when hardware itself is identical, crossflashing had NO risk at all.

Furthermore, with Dual BIOS on Gigabyte boards even flashing a DFI nf4 Ultra BIOS won't kill the board... it'll just restore the backup image of your last working bios.

I love the dual bios design on the my UD4P now:)

i tried to flash with the f8x bios and it did not work.

After the flash was done it reported a error and did a backup from the second bios chip.

UD4P is not same HW as the UD5 and EXTREME. Couple minor differences probably prevent the flash from working properly.

where can we download this f8x biose, for ud5? anyone?
