LOL might not want to put DI on the mosfets, I have a feeling to cold might hinder what your trying to acchieve ;)
I would get a nice clip on fan and blow some serious air at it.

what is safe max volts on these phenom I chips ,i can get 3.5ghz@1.55v
keep it cool and use a mobo that has real good Mosphets with even asmall fan blowing on them.,,
I dont know of any SAFE VOLTS but a 140watt can be pushed to 1.8v if you have a good enuf Mobo and cooling:D
Im using M3N 79-T with stock heatpipe PWm/nb cooler and a small fan. thats it. Only the cpu is cooled when using 1.8v cpu 1.69v nb.
Its all a gamble volt wise,, Ive been running my 9950 @ 1.6v+ for over 9months.. then decided to [pump 1.8v for this contest.
Keep the CPU cool and remeber to be above the Ambiant Temp of contest.
Trust me its a lot harder to do this with high volts.
Note;
The Mobo and Bios are a big factor in stability while pushing PHI.
well, is there any gigabyte user there.
DO NOT OVERCLOCK PHI.
Im serious, their pwm is weak, the 4 phase dfi pwm is very strong.
Max on PHI :
1.45 for air is somewhat absolute max(24/7 stable)
1.55-1.6 for water, absolute max(24/7)
1.75 for DI.
thats how i belive it is, and in fact, i rarely see higher voltages, ofcourse for suicide.
PHI is hot hot hot :p
i ran my 9850 @ 3.36 (14x240) w/ 2400nb with 1.49vcore & 1.42nbv rock stable, i think if you can keep load temps below 55c, 1.5v for air is A-OK
1.45 V NB 1.45V HT 207 mhz HT ref. 800 MHZ HT link 1800 mhz NB 1.425 V core 1,504
Dual Pc power & cooling 750 W total 1500 W dualrail.
Watercooling.
WATCH THIS POST FOR UPDATES ON SCORES, FINAL IS POSTED IN THIS ONE!
To keep amount of posts down, final score is due to 6-7 hours.
Question, cpu temp @ 15 C ? ambient means air temp ? :P or watertemp :P
Either way, think people is going to have an hard time!
Air ambient is 23 C watertemp ??? stock chipset cooling, LP JR 790GX M2RS from DFI.
Dual 4870 Crossfire 512 MB, just to have enough load on psu's, since too low isnt very healthy, and gives strange voltages.
Corsair XMS2 2GB 800 mhz 4-4-4-12 2.1 V ran at 5-6-6-28 of all things.
I dont got no thermomeeter, at all, do i gotta drive an hour just to buy one ?
GotVoltage got 1.776 votls and almost same temp, pic comming up tomorrow morning.(system) :) camera uses an strange cable, which i think is at my school. i can take one now, but swapped back to DFI m2r and no ice left.
Ambient was over 20 always. watertemp is something diffrent, but according to chew that was allowed.
Highest air clock achieved will be awarded a Legit key for windows XP from me :)
they are worth enough, not as much as a 720 BE, but enough. so there is a 2nd place price now :)
Nice ,,very nice...
You make me want to be back from Bakersfield early.
My Room ambiant 18c and water temp after CPU was 23c @3rads... Now ive only tested this CPU down to 18-20c core temps with 1.78-1.79v @3910mhz with 230+ram . .
I can still go lower to go higher;)
I cheaply rigged the xtra cooling and was melting two blocks in 40minutes over 1 1/2 hours of clocking  Wish i had this week to play,,since this CPU has more left,, just not at home untill Sunday :ROTF:,,talk about preshure.
Well ,, 4cores works up to 3682mhz with 2000Nb.
I Dont want to push with Four core to high since this one does like to eat up the Volts and the IMC goes Non convergant after 3700mhz with x4cores.
With three Cores i Can reach 4.0ghz with higher Nb and less volts and heat.
Either way Im very very pleased with this 720. Thanks and its like better than the California Lotto, this 720 already payed out :ROTF:

Note: I had CPU-Z open to show Bios version 0030.. When i took screen i accideently had both CPU-Z reading same...was late night.:D
Awsome glad your enjoying it....
720BE tweaked for 24/7
Ive decided to keep my new 720 a tripple core.
After many tweaks at 3.7ghz x4core and then x3 @4ghz ive settled for a 3.9ghz OC with a nice NB clock too.
17's with wicked fast desktop and gaming action is what my 9950 lacked:D.
Using two tripple rads and just water. Sig .
Note: funny thing @Ganged Mode is 17.634's for 1m.....Below is Unganged:up:

Coming soon on Ln2 test to night :D
Nice results...
The 720 BE is a Nice chip for AM2+ DDR2/ AM3 DDR3 mobos for people on a buget and want to save $50bucks over a Simalar AM3 x4core.
Even if you dont unlock it,, the Performance this tripple brings is as good as any 940 PH!! for overclockability . It even gets better ,because you can Upgrade to DDR3 Mobo for more Fun. Cant do that with the 940's since its AM2 only:yepp:
Im playing around with Bioses for Mine M3A79-T and couldnt be happier while running DDR2 for now.
Nice chip,
Have one on my way, just got to decide on a motherboard.
I have Last night test on Ln2 but coold -155'C coold boot -150'C my cpu..:brick: I see max.mhz.5550  break down my dreams..:shakes:
Why is this a sticky still,I always forget about the date and get excited about
winning this cpu
I handed down the 9950 to my bro,, its still going strong....
720 HTPC @ 3700 X3.....24/7 @1.36v watercooled.
I dont think i ever Posted the Final Run...I was going for 4gig..but the Mobo wouldnt budge for more...

It was fun and i always look forward to your results...
You can remove thread if ya wish Bro,,
It will elimanate Mass confusion.:ROTF:
Can't delete it, my delete thread superpowers are not working due to the sticky
Hahahaa...any how i guess its an oldie but a goody B3 thread now lol..
