Hey is that the Prolimatech Megahalems cooler, I was wondering if that fit on this motherboard.
EDIT: nevermind it is the megahelms you stated it in your second picture I just couldn't read :)

Is it normal for the LAN port to stop working above a PCI-E speed of 101 or setting the case clock over 215 ?
anyone have an opinion on this board V. the DFI M-ATX offering? which one would you pick?
For those of you with this board, is the lcd poster useful at all. I bought an open box board and it didnt come with the poster and now I'm wondering whether its worth it to get it or not...Thanks
I find it very useful. When I bench I have it set to display voltages. When I'm simply gaming I have it set to display temperatures. Just go to the asus store and order the parts u need. Problem is if you paid close to $200 for the board those to parts will cost you almost $30 and the i/o shield is not listed anyway.
My Rampage II Gene Build
I paid $170 for the board open box. I called ASUS earlier today and they said they would send me the I/O shield for free whenever they get it in since its not on the store yet, :) I ordered a flex sli bridge off ebay for 10.50 shippped. The problem now is that the lcd poster is out off stock.... :shakes: But at least I got everything I need to function now. The lcd poster will cost me $20 after shipping, as of now I'm not convinced its worth it. All input about the external lcd poster is helpful. :cheer::cheer:
Well it only displays time, temps, volts, or fan rpm. U have to select one of these options. As far as error reporting goes, it's not necessary because this board recovers beautifully from failed overclocks. It even has a button on board to reset memory to standard while leaving all settings intact should u fail to post. For the price u paid I wouldn't bother since its only use it hardware monitoring and boot diagnosis.

I tested that great little board here :)
Has anyone gotten this board to play nice with Hyper ICs yet? I'm on 0705 BIOS and it won't let me manually set my RAM to 2000 7-8-7-21 1.65v. Whenever I do so it boots but there is just a black screen. Apparently I'm not the only one ether, http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...Language=en-us
BTW, my kit is Kingston KHX16000D3ULT1K3/3GX.
i'm on 0705 too, i can get them to do it (same ram too:P) i can get mine stable, but it takes stupid high QPI voltage to do it.
i'm not happy with this setup right now. :shakes: i'm going to see if i can get my hands on some samsung ram and see if i have better luck
I'm actually using 25x at the moment (not on a 920). I was trying with 145blck and just setting my RAM frequency a tad over 2GHz. What QPI voltage do you need Chinstrap?
<1.45
the *lowest qpi i have gotten it stable @ is 1.45 - but that number goes up when base clock goes up.
Tried increasing this value : Back-to-back CAS delay... makes the board far more stable but it looses some performance
I´m trying to get my memories to run in 1700Mhz + but it never boots or when it boots it fails loading Windows. Running 172x21 and mem at ~1724Mhz. Dram Voltage at 1,65v and Qpi/Dram at 1.2750.
Bios 0601 so i hope someone have some good tips :)
Having this memories

I have exactly the same rigg as Ante and i have tried everything from auto to lots of volt.
But anything over 1600mhz and it doesn`t boot.
I had the first bios but changed it to 0705 with no result....
What 24/7 seting do u use?
0808 BIOS should be out shortly, it will help... ;)
