Can it take a PA120.3 without modding?
Wow, really looking forward to this.
Would be really nice if you could "do the Antec P180" and sound-deaden the side panels, or offer them as an extra.
Very nice looking case with plenty of potential.
Let's just hope you don't out-price it too much...
....And here's a +1 for what Donnie said: The 750TX is the best PSU (value for money) on the market at this moment PERIOD. (Donnie claims this for the USA market, I say it for the Japanese)
On the other hand, Redbeard, please don't think the HX series was as good as well. It wasn't. Nevertheless, you managed what most companies never do: a complete 180 from horribly disappointing to The Best in one single generation. Congrats!
What's wrong with the HX series? I've only heard like -one- complaint, most reviewers seemed to love them.
Looks like an interesting case, I'm looking forward to more pictures. I'm not planning on going into a large tower again, though. Had enough of lugging around my old antec!
First memory, then power supplies, now cases... tomorrow... motherboards?
what are you guys talking about, the HX 620 is a fantastic powersupply. Great line stability, rated at 50C for 620w continuous and can go over 700w @ peak....
HX620 with a fan swap to Scythe S-Flex F made it inaudible. Almost a perfect PSU.. the flat cables make it easy to run behind panels too :D
Any plans to make a door version? I love doors and how clean the front becomes.
Redbeard a removable motherboard tray and also ventilation on the pcie brackets be a must feature for a $300 case :)
I cant wait for this case, gonna be replacing my Stacker 830 with it. Will have to get some new upgrades for the new housing too
I must say that I really like this case and am very much looking forward to its release. As for my input, I would throw out the following:
1. I hope that there will be a non-window version of the case as case windows are very much a matter of personal taste. Along the same lines, I wish that the window did not peek into the lower compartment. I know Corsair makes PSUs and wants to show em off, but I like to use the lower compartment to hide things.
2. Please consider releasing some sort of optical drive stealthing accessory. Right now Lian-Li is the only manufacturer that does this and I don't know why more don't follow suit.
All things considered this looks like a hell of an entry into the case market.
Cut out in the back of the mobo tray? I always wondered if this would help with cooling.
Thanks. I agree but I too didn't think the HX sucked.
I'd paid more for the 620 (Not good as the Antech 650W) than I did the 750 (better than the Antech 850). Given a choice between the two, I'd buy the 750W every time:up: While using it, I was wondering why anyone needed larger PSU. I Ran overclocked, 3 HDDs, Two Opticals, 6GB of RAM, hell, a floppy (Don't ask), X-FI, TV card and an overclocked 3870 (later a 4850), 4 Case Fans, Internal card reader and it never missed a beat. I wish I wouldn't have sold it. A bud has similar rig with water cool internal on this same PSU.
Guys I missed the part about a removable Mobo Tray. It's not replacing the SS TJ07 going for $254 IMHO. That Thermal Take Case is already modded with Grommets and other gadgets. The other Cooler Master HAF 932 case is already modded to hide wires. Look closer?

Shouldn't have any problems with 10.5" video cards either. Note that it is ready for internal or external radiators. One site had it on sale for $139 at one time. Note on Newegg it has 339 reviews and check out they even do a combo deal with the 700W Corsair; "Combo Price: $289.98" PSU:ROTF: Now that's why I said what I did. Will the new Case be worth more than this Combo? It looks like a great Case but it will not cause the others to miss any sleep.
Last but not least, Corsair does have great support!
Well, not sucked, but disappointed.
Maybe I should re-phrase this: Had it been released by Q-Tec or even Rosewill, it would've been great, but when you have to live up to Corsair's reputation.... Well, I guess I expected too much...:p:
...Anyway, let's not dwell on bygones, this is just my personal opinion and what's more important, everything is GREAT now. :D
nice case George
Not that it matters, but can you tell me what you disliked about the HX620?
When it came out, it was one of the only 50C rated modular PSUs with a single 120mm fan, excellent voltage regulation and low ripple/noise. It was on top of SilentPCReview.com's silent PSU list for quite a while...so I guess I'm curious as to what you disliked about it.
I've been liking my HX520 so far...my only complaint is that it has both 4 pin and 8 pin non modular...means I'll have to find a home for the 4 pin once i finish the build
otherwise, the corsair case is looking nice so far
Any idea on when this case will be out?
Not that it matters, but we had more problems with it when paired with heavy loads (overclocked rigs with CF/SLI), then we had with other similar contemporary PSUs. The cases were not predictable and sometimes one would work in one rig, and then another one would create problems in an equally specced rig elsewhere... I could never figure out what the problem was, and it may as well have not been the PSU's cause, but as some other brand PSUs at the time didn't display such whimsiness, I just didn't use them in most of the cases where a 620W PSU should have been enough.
I'm sorry I can't give you a more technical explanation, but it was all trial-and-error based and boiled down to a gut feeling.
The single-rail TXs are pure gold though and I'm only sorry I'm slowly running out of rigs to replace PSUs in...:p:
that case looks very generic and like a rebranded lianli to me...
it does look nice, but... nothing special... i expected more from the thread title :P
they should add better vga cooling, some shround system like mac pro systems, and add mounting holes for radiators on the top and back of the case.
That's nice to hear. Because right now, from a pure aircooler stand point this case can't really compete against haf 932 or antec 1200 for example. Maybe an intake fan or two in the front and an option of mounting at least one fan on the side if not more (like HAF 932 side panel) would be really nice.
Also if you guys do decide to release an aircooler oriented version would it be possible of you guys to build in custom air filters on the side/ front air intakes that are easy to remove and clean without having to take off all the fans (sort of like on antec 900/1200). I'd gladly pay premium price for that, because I was looking at getting HAF 932 but the idea of mounting air filters onto the side panel fans then having to dismount the whole thing to clean it every 2-3 weeks did not appeal much to me.
