Pretty much, blinking colored dots is one sure sign. But really anything that just doesn't look normal. Run Furmark at default speeds and get an idea of what it's supposed to look like, then OC and do the same. If anything looks unusual, it's an artifact.Quote:

Did some little overclocking, seems like my vanilla 285 can run at the same speed with EVGA's SSC ( so i guess the SSC's arnt binned chips after all )
Yep, as stated in the mod thread though, the SSC does have slightly more voltage but it doesn't seem to make much difference as the vanilla's are clocking almost as well. I do however think that eVGA is getting a better batch of chips though as they seem to overclock better than the other manufacturers based on OC data I've seen so far from various forums.Quote:
