+90FPS because the video card has to do less work. The first graph shows the system is GPU limited with Crysis.

Oh, I hope that isn't you... :p:
This thread is funny, and a perfect example of how the gaming tweens assume there is only one user profile for CPUs. This is a "better" value etc..
Have not seen any official confirmation yet except some shop in far away Belgium (birth place of JcVD) has it listed with price € 259,90
so this 8700 is confirmed or not= :P
Why do people feel the need to go into a thread about dual core processors and make a statement about quads being "better"? I can't imagine seeing a thread about a new quad and posting in it about how dual core is able to hit way higher frequency and still crushes quad in 50% of the popular benchmarks. Is that just insecurity, or is it ignorance to the fact that some enthusiasts may own ten duals and ten quads and use certain chips for certain tasks? Why is there a need to make a statement about what is the "better" choice? That assumes all of the readers share the same perspective. It's ANNOYING!
argggggggg:mad: Chopper wants a new 8700 cpu !!!#:D
:yepp:
i'm so used to doin 4.6 24/7 on air can't go back
only reason i will buy a quad would be for my son he gonna need a nice nahaleem with 12 gigs for video editing
a quad it useless to me all i do is game n workn surf
unless someone gives me a quad for 10$
I'd love one of these. 600x10.5 on the cascade would be sweet as :slobber: :D
i'm done with C2D and C2Q processors, this time my money hopefully
goes to core i7 (D0).
