what amazes me the most is how many different watercooling parts are available these days. I mean you can get anything. Companies spending alot of time on the forums really trying to give us exactly what we want. I give them the highest praise because we really demand alot.
I remember back then if you wanted to overclock then you looked up to DJ and Macci, they were the kings of overclocking. For watercooling though IMHO there has only ever been one professional, CATHAR. Some of the ideas he came up with were nothing short of revolutionary. If it werent for Cathar watercooling would still be in the stone age.
Ive been in watercooling for almost 10years now so i dont really ask many questions. Not to say i dont have them but that is the beauty of this site , you can find the answer to pretty much any watercooling question. And if you dont just ask and im pretty sure someone knows.

I have fond memories of the old ProCooling days and tbh if it wasn't for Danger Den (Dan Jeremy and Dennis) giving us all these so called toys to play with i'd maybe never have come up with loads of the :banana::banana::banana: i did.
I do always remember a quote from Gabe in one of my early builds saying i would get much better temperatures if i flipped the radiator 180degrees...........from that day on i thought, this guy doesn't always practice what he preaches as i'd ran both ways without a hint of temperature difference though i kept it to myself :D
You live and learn ;)
We are all not noobs! Look at this, this was the first nforce 2 board that I volt modded the :banana::banana::banana: out of LMAO. vcore, vdimm and vdd volt mods and it still ran like crap :(

Despite the accusations of being a know it all by a few here, I have said and will always maintain that I know enough to be dangerous. ;) Dangerous n00b 4 LiFe!!

Kit was an Asetek waterchill something or another. It had a

what they now call their "Antarctic" block
and I added a NB option that you can just make out in some of the pics
Custom made the res myself.
Can't recall ATM what the heck it was cooling.

Oh man Waterlogged, another Aria Owner circa 2004. I had three of those cases, and one I built for a neighbor. Two out of four of the 300 watt PSU's died, and Antec didn't have replacement PSU's until they redesigned the Aria in 2006.
Chucked all those cases in favor of the X-Qpack m-ATX cases that could take a full ATX PSU. Gah, those Aria cases were a PITA to work on too with their micro screws for the riser cards. Stripped out something fierce. Thanks for the nightmare. ;)
Opposite of n00b you are:

Make that old and crusty
Waterlogged is the original king of SFF watercooling
I would just like to join in here... I am a liquid-cooling n00b. But there's so much information to be read here at XS that it makes being a n00b enjoyable. I wouldn't have it any other way.
The day that there is nothing left to learn will be a sad one. Let's hope it never comes.
