Sure you were..Yup..Uhuh...And i look like Brad Pitt too!
Ok, I'll tell you what.
I'll let you out of this if you bring a dual gainstown board and top cpu's for it to CES..
No, you don't have to show benches in front of AMD..
Just set up in a back room and let me see what it will do for 15 minutes!
Deal?:D
As it sits, I have the badge to get in and the time to go. Just a problem of getting the tickets to get there at this point.
i.e. same as usual. lol
So with any luck, might be able to make it again... we'll see I guess.
OMG, more Gig ladies, they sure got their marketing down and know that Extreme OC's need anotehr outlet for our passions,....
I wish I could make it, love those events in vegas...
We used ot do a lot of Trade Shows and hte best were Vegas and New Orleans...
nice guys :D
So bad I can't come to record some movie of the Overclocking-TV journal :/
Humm :D @Movieman/FUGGER Do you wanna a live broadcast ? (i can help for sure about that ^^ you'll jsut need to install webcam and i'll manage everything ;))
I was thinking something a little better in resolution than a web cam.
On this idea:

Stick a 2.5-6x lens on that and beautiful for close ups or out to 50ft easy.
Maybe 1-4 of the sony's I use for surveylance systems broadcasting to a web page. The capabilities to do that are in the software and I could send technically up to 16 camera shots on a split screen to a web page but 4 would be a better target number.
Now if you have a web page and address for me we could make this work..
I could pack everything I need into a suitcase, capture card and cameras, and get some coax and 18G for power in Vegas when I get there.
Damn! I wanna' go. Too bad I have no way of getting to Vegas then.
You shouldnt post those gigabyte chicks. Now i'm definently coming if you know what i mean:shocked: I get lucky round trip arifare is only $120 from SaltLake.
I love driving in though the scenery is really nice while you comedown from Utah to Vegas. And the best thing is to drive at night, it's like you driving in a middle of nowhere in the desert and then all of a sudden you can see huge lights from 30 miles away.
Movieman, what is your luggage allowance?
I regularly fly internationally with a suitcase filled with mobos, vids, coolers, pots etc.
So long as you stick to the weight limit (pffft - im always 30kg+) there cant be any problems (unless amercians think that PC's are dangerous too now? :P)
@ Jasmine, im sure you will do well and you have the full support of the community, so no need for nerves!
@ the boys - you dont need Gigabyte girl when you have an Xtreme Hottie coming ;)
Actually, it seems like flights and hotel rooms aren't that hard to come by this year. Even though the spam from companies hasn't stopped for the last two months, there are rumors of some companies pulling out at the last minute too due to the economic situation. Heck, several hotels STILL have discounted rates for CES attendees.
What I am trying to say is if there is a will, there is a way.
You'll do fine. Us computer enthusiast types can't tell the difference between a good party and a bad one, so long as most of the following ingredients are present.
-Sci-fi
-Computers
-Liquid nitrogen
-Lovely (single) ladies
-Food
-Booze
-Music
That's the components of a good party for computer *nerds*. Lucky enough, we bring 3-4 of those with us. Just make sure Intel, AMD, and Gigabyte bring more booth babes--we'll be fine! :ROTF:
By the way--I'll see about total expense. Any WCG'ers want to room with me? :D
woot!!! i will be at ces this year. so for sure count me in...:p::D i am stoked to meet some of the people i have been inspired by!!!!! :D:yepp::p::up::rolleyes::cool::p:;)
