Hi
There will be of course plexi version!
Like at all other EK blocks!
got any pcitures of the plexi version?
pretty please
will these fit 1/2"ID 3/4"OD compression fittings?
No full board block for the Rampage Extreme I Eddy?
dont do a rampage extreme fullcover, TBH on full board block per motherboard and the market is already saturated :2cents:
don't push it Malik.... lol :p:
Just brought mine :D
Have one problem through, dont know why ek didnt make any thing for this
Where the oringnal heatsink was installed it had 4 screws to secure the Asus rog light/heatsink for the QPI DRAM Power Card
Has the heatsink is no longer there, I cant use the Asus ROG Light/heatsink, which I wanted to use
What would you guys recomend on how to install this or something else to cool the chips down
other than that the blocks are amazing, i'll upload pics to show you guys later
I see mips have sorted the problem out, but how do I just buy that part?
they have made a mount where you slot it into both sides and then you can screw it in has it more wider

and also mips waterblock goes under the QPI Card (there are chips under there)
Does this need cooling? ie mini heatsink (The ek one doesnt go under the card)
Interesting... I will be waiting to hear more about this.
Also, was wondering where one could purchase this in the US?
This is why i like the mips more as its got better cooling on the board.
The chips under the QPI card does not heat at all.
They are cooled by 5mm thick thermal pad. Simple ram heatsink would be totally enough.
Also think about why ASUS made only passive cooling for this board... Because there is no memory controller in the NB.
They made it just like Just like AMD allready made, so the NB does not heat that much any more.
how about the qpu card then?
Ram heatinks again?
the block EK-FB RE2 is really very nice
by against this type of block is required to have WC MOSFETS too?
not possible to keep the heatpipe MOSFETS of origin and how it was for the Asus rog light / heatsink for the QPI DRAM Power Card?
thank you very much ;)
Anyone have shots with the EK block and the QPI card installed?
yep i do

Any more pics needed, just ask
thank you for the pictures ;)
you would not have any pictures with the wb mounted?
damage that may be required to WC also MOS with a wb NB/SB Complete
thank you ;)
Ordered one of these, just waiting on it to be dispatched now.
Just a question, will I need the MOFSETs as well? I didnt order them I would prefer them to be in 1 piece than what is avaliable at the moment.
A General question what else will I need to cool? I have the Swiftech GTZ with 1366 adaptor.
You don't *need* the MOSFET, but you can rock it if you see fit. I am waiting to see/hear about any gains with them. Haven't seen any thread about them or seen any poster with them.
We have a similar set-up. I have been thinkinh about getting the EK full NB/SB block and the MOSFET's too. Haven't seen them on any sites here in the US yet.. Where did you get it?
Also, would love to know what you think of the NB/SB block too. How it fits, temps, etc. I originally bought the Swifty NBMAX, but have been having issues with it. Upon installation, had a slow leak and its too small to fit the comp fittings I have. Thankfully I have 90 degree rotary adapters.
Anyway, let me know what you think about it and if you find anyone using the mosfets...
I would like a mosfet set with the 2 in 1 like this n/b s/b block for my R2
That would be nice. Save money on the block AND on the extra set of compression fittings... That is part of the reason I am holding off until I hear someone's thoughts. If they help, I'll get them, but if they are just for show, Id rather spend the cash on another HDD or kit of ram.
