Nice big fans they have there.
However, I stand by my statement. Finding fans with enough static pressure and flow to get through that with what is currently available is gonna be hell. When the Triebework comes out, that may solve the problem right there. Until the, 140mm fans aren't really hardcore, and the really hardcore 120mm fans are both expensive and jet engines.
Do I think it's a good idea? Yes, this coming from the person with 12 120s worth of rad in his setup. I simply wonder if the rest of the industry is set up to deal with it. Cases, fans, possibly even some pumps-I'd love a flow path on this beeyotch. Don't misinterpret what I said-I want this to come to market. I want there to be continued innovation, and hopefully some of it will even be mine. However, to look at a product, look at what is available and say "I'm not sure we can use this right yet" isn't bashing, but rather prudent caution.
In short, let this get to market, with its fans, and then we'll see.
Till then, I'm gonna go hug my GTX480 some more.

If you look carefully, it does look like there's two radiators sandwitched together, (there's a centre column separating the fins), probably rigged to the same flow...
I dig the side panels. Makes it much easier to mount on the side because of the pre-drilled screw holes
Between the Monsta's physical size and the size fans you'll need to move enough static pressure, it may require a new Monsta™ case to go with it. :)
Damn though, I'll be watching for the results of this bad boy regardless.

The reason for soon changing my zalman 9500 for d-tek fusion v2 is less noise production and better cooling. The size of the my system doesn't realy matters. As long as it works as quite as a notebook. And using fans with 76 mm thickness is sickness :) even if they are undervolted. I've heard the noise thej produse, it is similar to drill machine working near you.
About the rad: yes it humongous... But with it , I think, it is possible to go absolutly passive...the other question is the amount of blocks in the rig that can be cooled with this "Monsta" passivly.
And by the way does anyone heard about the price of the rad? How can it be compared with Mora 2 core/pro?
The only thing I could think to do when seeing this rad is laugh... so... hahahahah :)
