I guess I am sold then. Great cooling without sounding like a freaking chopper when on air and eay to go WC. Exactly the kind of case I was looking for so that I can ease my way into WC without much pain. What would also be interesting is that is it possible to mount a dual rad like the MCR220 on the front of the case replacing the front intake fan and the HDD rack.Quote:

I went to see the CM380 in person last night and its impressive indeed. Still I am thinking harder and harder about my new gaming rig and I think I want to go water cooling except for the GTX 280 but the Physx 8800GT and CPU will be water cooled so do you guys feel the HAF 932 is a better choice for a water cooling system for someone that doesnt MOD cases over the CM 830?
I am in the same predicament as you are. I have narrowed it down to Cosmos S and the HAF 932.Cosmos S is a little bit asthetically pleasing than the HAF 932, but the HAF 932 runs a lot silent than the Cosmos S. Also, I don't know whether a rad like the feser could be mounted on top in the Cosmos S. The thickness of the rad might interfere with the mobo. I have to do some more research on this.Quote:

Overall very happy with this. Only odd complaint is due to the stupidly bright/powerful blue LED on the power.

I am buying this case for my new gaming rig and didnt realize what was just mentioned about the side panel not allowing you to showoff your new WC setup..still, I am going with it. :-)

CM tossed in an 8-pin extension cable, but I just escaped having to use it with a PC P&C Silencer 750 / Asus Crosshair II Formula. They also included wheels for the case, and enough screws/standoffs to construct a small country.
Overall, very pleased with the case. Quiet, roomy, plenty of options for upgrades. The only small cons are the 1) power led and 2) 5.25" drive installation. When you remove the bay covers, a hole is created in the side of the case, exposing the ugly sheet metal of your 5.25" drives...I suppose it's nothing a little black spray paint couldn't fix.

try using your camera's timer....for height, use anything you can stack, i.e. chair books....you got an amazing rig, too bad we can't completely enjoy it.

the only reason for me to not get the HAF is that i actully dont want to kill my PSU with dust if its gonna act as a vacuum cleaner at the bottom of the case suckin in everything thats under the case...:mad:

As stated by Gaz, you can mount it on the top or bottom. I will have mine on the bottom but have already cut some sheets of mesh that easily fit in the space between the PSU mounting plate and the bottom of the case. I also cut some for the front 230. Don't know the name of this stuff but it was the cheap stuff that I got from Wally world.Quote:

I like this case a lot ... the exterior looks are subjective of course - to each his own - but I found the interior spacing great to set up a WC loop. Although it about the same size as my Tt Kandalf that part of the WC kit was swapped out of, but the extra bit of width in the HAF made things easier to setup.
