tape some red cellophane... red all around...
Love the red!
The red and yellow LED's go together very nicely.
Good job on the build. Sorry 'bout the MB. What a buzzkill.
How are you monitoring your temps? Do you have after market sensors or does the LCD screen read it from the motherboard? If you have after market sensors, I'm curious as to how you mount them on the CPU.
try frozencpu they have everything no way they wont have red led's for your case
more pics :)
@Gunther: do you have some pics/pointers how you sleeved the 6-pin cables?
by the way... Evercool 60mm X 25mm Crystal LED Fan (Red LED)
Sorry for not updating lately, been very busy with work.
New parts/OS installed:
Auzen Prelude 7.1 soundcard (i love this card, best XFi available)
Additional 2GB DDR3 Crucial Kit (1GBx2): total now is 4GB
Windows Vista 64bit
At the moment im still missing some red leds inside the case and I had the cover on the raptor x redesigned so currently its missing a cover. Aside from those, I believe my Toaster project is done, I have been playing COD4, CoH, Crysis, etc. on highest settings (except for Crysis of course) and never had any slowdowns nor problems at 3.8Ghz. I am very happy with my Toaster
I almost hit 20k on 3DMark06 with this baby ;) LINK
Anyway here are some new pics I took a while ago. Don't miss the youtube link below if you want to see the scanner light in action.

Enjoy
Very nice work Gunther! I like the red LEDs all around. Mind if I asked you how you mount those LEDs like where, and, how, and some pics too :D
Gj!
Gunther where did you get that lcd display?
i think that's an Alphacool LCD-Display
it's an alphacool lcd display,

gunther awesome job :clap::clap::clap::clap:
Not really sure with the tips, all i can say is have plenty of patience with the sleeving process and have some ice ready to put your fingers in after :D I used those tools that remove those pins in the molex so it was kinda easier to sleeve them one by one.
at the moment I have 2 of these wired in series and used double sided tape to stick em on the left and top portion of the inner case circled on the pic below. The rest were lighted with the help of the bright red leds placed in the XSPC tops. Its not enough for now, I am having more leds made and hopefully will be done by next week.

Yup its an AlphaCool LCD display, it comes with a software that you use to create custom designs for it and its very easy to use. In my case, I customized the display to put in all basic info I need, very easy to monitor my system while I benchmark or play games. Love it!

Thanks guys for the compliment, XS has helped me a lot to guide me setup my first watercooling rig. It was difficult and had sore fingers in the end, but all those are worth it after. My rig is very quiet and kick's ass in game graphics
Thanks for the info on the LEDs!
I just want to add that I noticed you used the Sunbeam Molex ATX Extractor to take out the pins off from your PSU connector. I have no idea how you did it. But It was so painful for me to take it out. I practiced on the PCI-Expres 4 pins connector and I was only able to take out 3 of 4 for an extensive period of time. By that time I thought this process wasn't wort it. I heard the AC Ryan was much of a better tool. I may have to get that later or the one off Petras they look they similiar (can any one confirm?).
Anyhow seen you did it to all 24 pins makes me wondering what I'm doing wrong? How fast could you take one out? I don't feel like buying a new tool if I'm using the one I have that does the same thing, but I"m just using it wrong :shakes:. Anyways thanks!
Well it really does hurt and had sore fingers for a few days after trying it out. That is why I mentioned before that your patience will be tested in this case. Getting the right tools is important as well, the sunbeam tool I had worked for me. It took me the whole week before I was able to remove and finish sleeving the 24-pin cables. What I did is just try one pin at a time, if I can't pull it off then I stop and try it again later. You can even see from the first batch of pictures that I had to wear a glove in the end because of my sore fingers but I still had to continue, hehe. Good Luck mate :)
One of the cleanest dualloop in Cosmos ^^
Gr8 rig mate ^^
Gunther: AWESOME ON THE INSIDE!!!! Pure MDPC. But the outside is not my taste - I talk about the front - having it clean like Junkun would make it soooo beautiful (for my taste). If you ever go for it - you have found a home :) Taste is always different with everyone, so congratulations for you build - no matter what!
Dualbrain: Thanks for the compliment mate, Toaster is indeed missing something, which is a front cover for the Raptor X. Hopefully it'll be done by next week including more leds to be installed inside and light up the reservoir. That is why I haven't took some really good hi-res profile pics of it yet, Im saving them once the remaining mods are installed ;)
Very cool looking. But aint it a :banana::banana::banana::banana: with that raptor right in ur face like that? i would have jammed a pencil really hard into my ears just to get rid of that whining noise...
The Best Cosmos-S Ever!!!
Finally the raptor cover is now installed, with the led lining effect fixed (I accidentally severed the wiring a few weeks ago).I believe that is the last part that needs to be installed to finish my Toaster rig. I still have to finish some leds though for the inside but i gues those are just minor add-ons.
Here are some crude pics of my Toasted rig finally finished, better pictures will be done this weekend (hopefully) to showcase my Toaster.

Thanks eXa, the whining noise was somehow minimized after placing the cover now, still overall the noisiest part on my Toaster rig is indeed the Raptor X especially when its seeking data on the disk. I barely notice the sound though once I'm playing, so I'm not that concerned about it :)
