most of my benchmarking is done with those volts (2.4-2.8v)
i have not killed a single stick to date
however i know that those models you are referring to are not the best voltage regulation wise and they are certainly different cattle of fish to these DS3P boards

If this thing has ICH10, why does it have 2 Gigabit LAN silkscreened on the board instead of 10Gbe? Not worth the time of day without it.

ICH10 has more differences, it now supports 6 SATA drives running in ACHI, ICH9 only supported four. ICH10 removes more legacy devices then before, it's supposed to use lower voltage also, integrated wireless LAN...the full specs should be out soon though.Quote:

Are the Hidden BIOS setting still in this board? Its quite a chore having to unlock it everytime.
Ever since later X38 BIOSes, the only hidden settings are ones which very very very few people (aka 1 in many million) ever need to even know about, let alone change.
All overclocking settings are immediately available including all RAM timings.
I don't mind hidden settings, i mean...how hard is it to hit CTRL+F1??
