That day is tommorow.
i thought just the gx2 was coming out tomorrow
I dont know, but nVidia has been confusing the crap out of everyone since their g92.
tomrorow as in the 18th or 19th? (since its the 18th now GMT)
The Gx2 is out.

today gx2 +790i
next week for the gtx
Holy crap, now who's gonna try these in Quad SLI?
I will wait more benchmarks before decide buying the card
I want to see FRAPS results @ 1920x1600 with high settings + AA...
I was misled with the X2 reviews that used time-demos because RL gaming with the X2 isn't that good, it is pretty much like the G80 GTX, if not worse (which would be ok if it wasn't for the fact the gtx is 18 months old).
Seeing this makes me kick myself and curse the day on November 2006 when I decided to wait on the r600 and not buy the g80 gtx. Once the r600 arrived and flopped I've been waiting for the 'next big card' ever since.
Still waiting, still sick of the mediocre gpu's available.
/moaning
pointless....
Are there any reviews of a single 9800GX2 vs. a pair of 3870X2's in Crossfire?
The only merit to this product in my opinion, is if it beats a pair of 3870X2's on an Intel Motherboard.
If I consider switching over to an Intel Mobo, I'd like to know the best graphics performance I can get.
Well, at least my 8800 GTX has provided great bang for the buck, especially since I got it when they were first available. This is kinda disappointing.
While the GX2 can beat it, that's only in games that support or scale well with SLI. Many of the games I play do not, so it would actually be a step down for me.
its basically like going form a geforce 7800gtx 512 to a 7900gtx right?
i know people keep calling it on card but its technically not?
In Heroes - the Difference between the 8800GTS anfd the 9800GTX is almost 10 FPS -shouldn't be that kind of difference and this is with buggy drivrs !!
any news here?
price tag? reviews? release date?
$350 on zipzoomfly.
Since no one else has posted it here:

I just picked up a G92 8800GTS considering how cheap they can be had now. The $100 premium for the number 9 in the front and an X in the back isn't worth it, imo (well, that and faster memory). Hopefully the cores on the GTX cards scale that high, but I'll believe it when I see it on every card and not just a select pre-production model.
*edit: Crap, they removed it from the site. It was up, boooo. I'll upload it and link to it in a sec...*
