Can it be that the CPU-temp seems to appear higher than real ???
What I mean is :
I just changed the board ( this weekend ) - had a ASUS P5N32-E SLI ( nForce 680i ) before... now I realise that the CPU appears much higher than the core-temps ... I am used to it that it was in fact vice versa.

my problem with the difference between CPU- and core -temp is gone :)
the temps are like they should be.
just forgot to report :
oc like before ... just with little lower cpu-temps.
installed bios 904 all seems ok i will post back if i find any difference to 803 but seems ok
Hmm please more people report! :) been waiting to see if it did bring any good? Fsb, changed in unstable OC etc..

i've just checked it out and the 1002 is for blitz extreme not maximus so don't use it, its obviously been uploaded to wrong folder on asus ftp

well seems that the temps are lower now...but a bit too low.
gonna test the fsb with a qx9650/e6850 later that day.

When I logged on a few hours ago... there was another post concerning the question if sombody could load him 0803 cause ASUS took it off the server.
But now this post is gone ... or maybe I´ll get insane ...

i found the BIOS on the asus FTP on another server so i downloaded it from there and deleted my post before i saw smooth's post. Thanks for the help though smooth :) danke
