I picked up these sticks a few weeks ago. I'm using the hardware in my sig. I can get 1040mhz but anything higher and I have major issues. I know I could tweak some subtimings but I'd rather just leave it at this. 5-5-5-15 @ 1040.

Can we get sub $100?!
yea same for Europe. They cost now 119 euro:X, last week average price was 150/160 euros, just compare a crucial pc8500 cost like 90 euro, then I know which I would get
possible to do 566 @ 5-5-5-12 with reasonable voltage?
$130 shipped is very tempting
I got the 800MHz version for $80AR and I'm running 1050MHz 5-5-5-15... with 1.9-1.92V! So far everything is fine (approaching 45 minutes now) so I'm pretty close to a 24/7 setting here.

hmmz tbh for 24/7 use I would use Memtest first then blend test, as from my own experience, memtest would fail very soon if not stable and prime blend could tales hours and yes sometimes then can show up after 8 hours....., but nevertheless, great samples u got for a great value, cheers:D
I fully agree with that. Memtest or Goldmemory, followed by Prime or something similar is the way to check for full 24/7 sability. When in Windows, the system can't test the whole RAM, as some is reserved. That's why sometimes windows-based memory tests work for hours while Memtest failes in minutes or seconds.
Thanks for the memtest tip.
I just ran Memtest for 3 hours during class with no errors - so it's looking good so far.
looks good , I personally run 12 hours at least memtest, and like 20 hours blend, but that just me, and 3 hours is just a good indication, keep it going:) I got my pair on my way cant wait , cheers
Got mine day.
After some quick testing i think ~550Mhz should be possible.
Great RAM for 120€
OMG!...the price has SHOT up to $185!!

mines arrived DOA from newegg,
i'll let you know how my replacement set goes..
Price...back down to $130 shipped, lol!
I ordered these from newegg for $129.99 plus $9 NJ sales tax on 12/5, they got here 2 days later, 12/7, all the way from california to new jersey. I don't even have a DDR2 board OR chip, but this ram was such a good buy and reading this thread convinced me so much to buy them that I had to get it!! they look sweet. i guess my next computer's going to have to be blue ;p
Haha, you are a true junkie to the sport.
I just ordered a set of these. I hope they work well, and last long without dying lol
my current buffalo firestix are crapping out. And I don't even have them at their rated speeds. I can't extract huge zipped files without getting CRC errrors.. All i ask out of this 4G set, is that they work without errors, and stay working... unlike the luck i've had with every set of micron based memory i've owned - both DDR and DDR2. I hope that isn't too much to ask :)
Just ordered one set of F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ.
ETA 3-6 days.
Need a replacement because my Teamgroup D9GMH needs 2.75V to boot succesfully. The funny thing is they weren't even tortured with out-of-spec voltage, I had them running DDR800 CL4 @ 2.1V with a 120mm Yate D12SL-12. No more Micron crap for me.
:|
Well join the club as i don't have any DDR2 CPU or mobo as yet either, but i could not pass up the price of $129.99 at a Canadian Online Retailer this past week.
I may even get another set of them in future weeks to come when i build a Intel Yorkfield Quad-Core setup.
Vista 64-bit here i come, oh i also have 64-bit Vista already, but i am not using it right now as i like XP to much...

Sigh I jumped on these last week @ 130 and now its 115 shipped
I paid 135€ ($190) for mine shipped from Blighty.
:P
Price hit $118 in Canada at DirectCanada and $9.99 airshipping. Had to pounce on that one. Sucks it had to happen at Christmas, but you gotta do what you gotta do :)
Got a Newegg rep to price adjust mine to $115! Said I would see a refund within the next day or two, we'll see...
BTW, this kit is amazing (thanks OP)! Have mine at:
5-5-5-15 2T @ 2.0v ... 518 Mhz, 4:5 ratio. Does better than my previous Crucial Ballistix DDR2-1000 kit (with less voltage).
3.31 Ghz on my E6420 on 2.4v.
$115 with free shipping, amazing price!
