I was thinking the same, after looking up some DDR3 boards, the notches are much further to the left.

so in the picture we have a DDR3 model board, with a further DDR3 label, but the slots are labeled DDR2 and the slots themselves are DDR2 aswell :confused: :D

The pink and green are DDR3 slots, we have already confirmed this way back.

The slots say "DDR111, DDR112, DDR113, DDR114".

lol even the slots in the photo look like DDR2 slots with the middle notch closer to the middle rather than side

just give me an X38 that clocks. The heatpipe selloff is getting annoying. Lets see a lean mean board again like the p35 DS3R.

What was that talk when Intel allowed nVidia to make xeon chipsets and Intel vas given in trade license to use SLI on their chipsets??

yep...

the funny thing is that the p35 DS3R proved that all that heatpipe junk isnt really needed, yet some companies still try to make us believe we need it... (msi rollercoaster mobo anyone?)

That MSI board was a joke.

Not that I think MSI when looking for a board anyways.

In this preview of the GA X38 DQ6 it has esata plugs in the ATX i/o area.
