Close enough i guess it's the smallest 850w i know of that's why i got it.It's not like those huge enermax galaxy psu'sQuote:

Any bigger and i couldn't 2 x triple rads down there
cheers
hey fellaz....
I'm going to chuck a single rad on the back..120mm fan take out the nb out my cpu and do a 3rd loop with nb sb and maybe hd's if it can handle it .I'm thinking of purple for the colour or maybe another blue loop. What do you guys think don't bother? overkill?
cheers
p.s i'll fix my cpu block while i'm at it and sell my b3 cpu for a q6600 g0
LOL Calm down m8! You'll be totally fine with your current set-up for a while. Maybe say a months lol but you just finished. Look around, make sure not to do things wrong and take your time. I remember i was exactly like you. I had just finished my first build with the Swiftech Ultra Apex kit and already, i wanted a PA120.3...
PS: Don't watercool your HDDs. It's useless. There is overkill and there is useless.
Lol okaaaaay i'll stick with my current setup for the time being.... i just thought when i drained my cpu loop and fixed my cpu block.I would change it then i have spare 120rad laying around and i wanted to change it now rather than later. But i guess it's ok for nowQuote:

cheers patriote
to give me something to do this w/e.I'm going to do my the middle section of my case to mirror finish, cut my panels and cut and paint my mesh.
that will keep be busy for awhile :)
LOL Dude, you are exactly like me, it's funny as hell. Every time i have a project that i am working on, it takes a week or so and when it's finished, i feel like bored... Like i gotta do something so most of the time, i Overclock and fine tune my stuff. :)
well i overclocked my q6600 (b3) to a casual 3.2ghz i can go higher but the ambient's are over 30c atm so my temps are getting too hot. What's the highest temp that's safe with my quad.Atm i'm 55c-56c under load prime and i'm trying to overclock my g80 but rivertuner is not working,i'm using vista 64bit by the way any idea's?
cheers
Bah, i think you can go higher in temps for your Quad. As for Rivatuner, i think it's a wonderful program but i used XP when i used it.. SO can't help you with Vista. Hell, i have never tried Vista...
okay what load temps should i stay under you think? 70c?
cheers
Maximum I'd say definitely stay under 65°C I keep my G0 under 64°C while folding, but it does sometimes peak when my ambients get a little hot.
According to the Intel Thermal Design specs I think the G0 can withstand hotter temps over the B3 but I'm really not sure what's a safe range for it.
cheers under 65c will do..

I'm thinking of going a similar route with my first water cooling setup. Please expand on radiator fit in regards to the Lian Li.
Well both my triple rads measure @
390mm 120mm 35mm l x h x d and that fits exactly tricia @ radiical was very helpful on getting me the right size radiators.
I originaly bought 2 rads before i purchased the case.That didn't fit
It all depends on your setup. In my particular case i have a thermaltake 850w and i had 400mm to work with in the bottom section, length wise. With the v2000 you have 240mm to work with from the bottom to the middle divider.
I suggest purchasing your preffered case 1st, then measuring where you want to put your rads.
Then check the dimension's on the radiator or radiator's you plan to put there.
hope this helps any other question's i will be happy to anwser
cheers
I'd say go for it, that is if you have most of the parts already.Quote:

I agree with this, but one thing you have to take into account is how hot this summer is going to be. Since we've already had an extreme winter by our standards, I'm expecting the summer to be insanely hot.Quote:

Looks like I'll have to try something different with my setup, I have the gigantic enermax psu :(. Might sell it now.
I have a rad and a res but not pump :(Quote:

Also got spare tubing lying around and heaps of zipties for clamps....
Yeah i know, its starting to get hot already i have my quad @ 3.2ghz i will keep it there for the time being. My temps are decent so when summer hits, i should be right.Do you have a v2000 aswell? You could still fit a double and triple ontop of the double in a similar fashion to mine, even with you enermax....Quote:

Depending on what rads you have or going to purchase though.

hey fellaz
i'm getting some uv blue and green cable ties to use as clamps on my barbs.Should i put the blue in the green loop and the green on the blue loop or keep them the same colour.
I was also thinking of purchasing some uv sata cables(black ones look plain) what do youse think 2 much uv in there???
cheers
Don't ask me. I'm not into the light-show thing at all.
I would put your blue on blue and green on green, with the ties, though.

Yeah i didnt end up using them on my tubing looked weird imo, just sticked with black ties...Quote:

i decided to fix my cpu loop up..... take the nb block out and do a 3rd loop to the case...nb,sb and ram (maybe) cooled by a 120 rad...
I'm waiting on the accelerator nozzle's to come out before i put the cpu loop back 2gether....
here's my case as it is now.took all the hardware components out and drained the cpu loop
