Maybe You try both 4:5 divider ?

Great work :D Works fine on P965 too. I gained 1,095sec in SuperPI 1M by changing the perf. level from 9 to 4 with my IB9+Celly setup.
I tried. Timings from bios only changed PF:

With these timings from bios i always have 8 for default. With mem timings set by spd it varies though.
nice. I guess different boards react differently, even in p965 era. I saw no mbench differences whether I chose 1 or 12 or something in between with my dfi p965. Just reconfirmed it with spi
great work felix :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap::up: :up: :up: :up:
ran great @ 6 crashed @5
...thank also The Stilt, it is his find. ;)

Awesome work Felix and Stilt! When I open memset 3.3 Beta2 there is a blank value for the performance level... Not a 0 or any other number just a blank and if I try to select a # the apply button is greyed out. I'm on a P965-DS3. Would love to be able to get this to work, I can't even break 533mhz with cas 5 on my ram or 475mhz FSB no matter how much voltage is pumped through it. I know for sure it's a chipset limitation. I've still yet to find where the board changes straps also, it's definately not between 360-470mhz.
i booted @ 500fsb set @ level 7
in everest i got 51 latecy read 9491 write 7948 copy 7713
n board temp @ 25c
damn its commin along
Tried this new memset with my DS3R, looks like the fastest performance on my board is 7 (around FSB 460-500MHz), default was 11. I also got my system locked up when I tried to change performance level to 6.
Also I noticed that my superpi is faster when I run my system at 460MHz (E6300, 460x7) dan change the performance level to 7, than boot from 416MHz and clockgen to 460MHz, and didn't change the performance level (at level 11). Screen shot @ pi 2M (quick test)
Boot from 416, clockgen to 460 = 41.875s

Boot from 460, set performance level to 7 = 40.013s

Also tested with Everest Cache & Memory benchmark, and also I got better result with performance level 7 (boot from 460), than boot from 416 (and didn't change performance level).
Very interesting find The Stilt and thanks a lot Felix for the implementation! :toast:
Now that I dont have a P35 board, a question that came to mind:
From what it looks like the PL is limited to level 6 or 7 in most cases when overclocked. Can you choose a lower setting while running everything at or below stock? If it is still limited to the same level as with high FSB I will have no idea what it does...
Tried that Fr3ak. Lowest i can get with 2/3 divider is PL 5 (9x400 2/3). With 4/5 divider PL 6. I tried 9x200 1/1 with very loose tmings and up to 2.5v vdimm but cannot get lower then 5. I only tried one set of memory and am limited by 1.55v max vMch though.
level 6 is great just gotta get it stable i was 4-4-4-4@1000mhz
i gotta play a bit with subtimings ?
but still great @ 500fsb@ level 7
i'm using the onboard sound should i use a pci sound card?
hey, can anyone get the performance level to stay at boot? My resets:S
i booted @ 515fsb 6x
set level 7 9600 read 50 latency 4-4-4-8
After modifying and calibrating the PLL Vcc voltage this is the highest FSB I can do with air cooling.
Before adjusting this voltage the cpu was limited to 570FSB even with LN2 cooling.
595FSB 1:1 PLVL 7
CPU-Z Valid
Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme with modified Tuniq Tower retention and stock cooling on chipset.
Besides the PLL Vcc mod the board is unmodded.
tWR = 5 CLK
tWTR = 2 CLK
tRTP = 5 CLK
tRRD = 2 CLK
tRFC = 30 CLK
Performance Level = Original Level 12 -> Level 7 :)
wow nice fsb there.. all my cpus seem to hit an fsb wall between 490-514fsb heh
