Yeah, that's what I figured. I saw several people hitting as high as 3.4-3.5ghz with those, on air!
Can't wait for the price cuts, but it will still be 2 weeks or more before I buy the processor (and I still need the ram, hard drive and dvd burner). I'm ordering my case next week. I'll be getting the psu around the same time as the motherboard in a few days since I won the psu (Ultra X3 1000w) courtesy of JonnyGURU! (I'll start a whole thread about it with pics after I receive it!)
So, anybody else got those F3 Optys? Or did everyone go with the X2 6000+?
I've got a 1212 HE, so far this is my 24/7 clock. I have not yet done any suicide runs to find the max.

Oh, wow. Very nice. Is it long til you are going to try any higher clocks? I am very curious because my friends are coming back from USA, and I am thinking of asking them to buy one for me at newegg. Would really like to know how they are when you bump up the voltage :)
CPU-Z reads voltage improperly, it's actually 1.39v on the core. I will most likely find max clocks for simple screenies and test max 3D stability tonight.
That guy on e-bay must've got those chips that "fell off a truck", to sell them outright at $90........me hates to think of stolen cpu's, but it happens. I remember all the stolen MSI 7900GS's that showed up on e-bay.....what a fiascle.
spqqky buy me 1 please :P
I did not get mine on e-bay, nor was I lucky enough to pay only $90.
It looks like 3.2GHz is all I can get stable, a little more it gets flaky. Was pushing 1.49v through the core which is all I'm willing to use. This Artic Freezer is decent, but it starts to get a bit warm.
I'm not sure at this point whether the chip is near it's limit or if it's something else limiting me, like the motherboard hitting it's max HTT, or maybe my PSU not having enough juice. The Enermax is great, but this isn't a lean mean bench machine, I've got a lot of peripherals hooked up. I'll have to upgrade if I want to beef up my video and add more drives.
