not to sound rude or anything, but do you even know what those numbers mean specifically in relation to performance?

Hmm something tells me that these are the same ram as I have.. They used to clock _really_ bad, but since I changed to the yellow slots on my mobo and adding water to the northbridge - they absolutely fly!

This is with 2.4V I'll try to lower it a bit today, and I'll try 4-4-4 to see if I can go higher. The only problem right now is the motherboard, it is _really_ strange.. 8x472 is 100% stable, but 394x9 is far from stable..


EDIT: I now run it at 2.1V and looser timings

This is the highest I have it by now - maybe there is a tad more to get from it.

That is SuperPI 32M stable (and S.T.A.L.K.E.R ;)), didn't have the time to test with orthos or Primes.

Thats pretty good hey, 525.5 MHz 4-4-3-8 at 2.1v is comparable to good D9's at the same voltage :up: I'd be interested to know what their 100% orthos/game stable timings are at 2.1v :)

I'll let you know about that, but first I have to solve a cooling issue with my computer. :( Just lapped the IHS and remounted the Apogee GT, but coretemp goes from 38 to 57 instantly when starting orthos :(

It happens _instantly_ I haven't tried to let orthos run for more than a few seconds as it is now. There definately is an issue with the contact between IHS and WB.

Mine shoots straight up from 35*C to 55*C on coretemp when starting orthos, then maxes out at 57/58*C. I think its normal behaviour, i have good HS to cpu contact and am using AS5.
I see a fair few people getting around 60 - 65*C on water. Whats you vcore, around 1.48v?

at 3.666MHz it's 1.57V under load and 1.6 when idle.

Ok, I'm back again, now it seems like I have sorted the heat issues. And I have vdroop modded my P5N-E SLI.

I'm at 556MHz ram now, 2.1V CAS 5-4-4-15-2T I'll try to get a new screenshot with 525 CAS 4-4-3-8-2T later.

Ok, seems like 570MHz CAS 5-4-4 is max at 2.1V - or it is my CPU holding me back. (or more likely the crappy mobo..)

at 572 it's not dual Prime 32M stable, but 1M is just fine ;)
