Pretty nice setup Quest_7F, but I hope you got those BOSE speakers for free.
dual monitors eh? :yawn2: theres a bit of quad 21" crt action in my room :D Its a 2.4m x 1.2m (approx.) sheet of MDF on top of a normal office desk. Note the support beam :D Its there cause the MDF sheet was bending *upwards* @ circled in 3rd pic...
Holy hell dude that is awesome!
Here are some pics of my workstation. I thought I would share. There is more then what you see but I couldn't fit everything in. On the table is an extra 150GB RaptorX I haven't figured out what to do with yet. The monitor off to the right works with the macmini on the table. The other 5 all work together via NVIDIA nView.
lol Nick04263 i take that you don't know the word excessive :D do you really need all those monitors.???
Well, I would replace the top 3 19 inch monitors with 2 24 inchers but it is hard to justify the purchase. But to answer your question, I get a lot of work done in a very short time period. ;)
Typically, I will have a movie going on one, editing pictures on another, monitoring a webpage I am working on in another, using another for file uploading, and using the last for webpage construction. My wife thinks it to be excessive but I can't get enough when it comes to hardware.
Hey Nick04263 Morpheus wants permission to enter Zion and land the Nebuchadnezzar.

It's actually changed quite a bit since those last pictures but I don't have any batteries for my camera.
Gawd!
to y'all folks with all thems monitors... does your face feel warm like it's radiating something... does your face glow in the dark when you go to sleep...
wow! all day long on a 21" CRT and i feel like i came from a toaster oven... not to mention what it does to my eyes...
but nice setups!
The LCD's use far less energy than the CRT's. All 6 of my monitors together use only twice the energy my old 19 inch CRT monitor did (that was one stand alone monitor). This means less heat output. Don't get me wrong, they can put out some heat after hours of use but nothing like the CRT's can.
