One advantage is that now u can play with shape, size and material of "pimp" and find the best solution. I'm very interested to see, cu Pimp on al pot.
I was testing my CPU pot today and i can tell you that i'm really happy with results. Temp was about -70 to -72 on metter and about -61 speed fan @ 1.75V 4500Mhz.

If the performance loss is too much with the removable centre posts, you could allways keep the bases solid and just make more units to whichever people prefer.
Are you going to test any with LN2?
Sure i will ;)Quote:

No, we are testing with fist one cu/alu.

Very good, for 60mm wide it is awesome, but the thing that really interest me is fluctuation under ~1.9V on ln2, I 'm interested in that because I must reach cold bug but not run in to it. So if I have fluctuation ~10C then my result will not be as good as I want to be with long run, aka Spi 32M. And then we know if some design is better then some other and in which direction to go with new projects.Quote:

@LD I did some test with my team. We can make some 32m run with fluctuation with +1/-1C on -120C or lower if needed. Also next time I will try dry ice, and I will measure temp with uei dt200.
Some more tests here:
