Sure thing Cortale ofc your exams are priority!
Its because I have been waiting for 2 months now for this board and you were the only one that had this board hence the comments.
We will await for you to post results when rdy.

In coolaler forums we can see that the bios logo screen is a huge dragon with the name of the board , very classy :D
Is it possible to turn off the blue backlight leds ?
Crotale, i fully understand your position and i`m greatful for the info you`ve shown so far. I wasn`t expecting all info to come through you anyway. What i find strange is, if this board is such an OC`ing monster you would expect loads of reviews, people shouting look what this board can do but, they`re not. Surely they sent out more review samples than just yours. Even Nellys thread over @ OCUK has gone quiet. I heard UK gets Abit stuff slightly ahead of everywhere else, dont know if it`s true but that might be reason for lack of user reviews. Guess we will have to be patient. Good luck with exams by the way:DQuote:

It will probably look very similar to AW9D-MAX, lights around cpu area.
In coolaler's forums http://forum.coolaler.com/showthread.php?t=145087
he also shows that 500MHz FSB is possible so that for me is one of the main questions answered for this board. What do you think is it safe to assume it is ok with high FSBs?
What is left for me before I order is the SLI sound issues, and ofc how it does with the Quad cores since I plan to upgrade to one in the future.
I ofc assume no sata issues.
If the IN9-32X MAX is anyway like the AW9D-MAX on the Leds you should be able to turn off most of them.
I also have been waiting for this board to come out. Glad its on a black PCB.
Seeing the blue 1 freaked me out as I am doing a red/black Dual PC. Now I wait for reviews and Newegg to get them in stock. But what can i say time and waiting is free. Lol
do you think the retail version have 4 sata parallel to the mobo ?
isaw 2 differents pics of the mobo, wonder which i 'll receive ...
To answer a few questions:
Yes, it's possible to have the Leds flash in different patterns or to turn them on/off completely.
I can't see how the two middle SATA ports also could be parallell with the motherboard, due to the screw hole, but I haven't seen any other design of it.
i edit my previous question :
in final retail board there is 4 sata parallele to the mobo and 2 perpendicular to the mobo ( these 2 are on middle )
I think he may mean this. This is a pic of Coolaler`s board, early engineering sample maybe.Quote:

Booted the board up now and started Orthos at 450FSB.
25 minutes so far, I'll report back in 30 minutes or so :)
Crotale if it is possible let us know if the SLI sound issue is present with the Creative cards.
I neither have two similar graphics cards or a new Creative card :(Quote:

This was done with a 60mm on the NB.
crotale are you booting at 450MHz? I'm having real problems getting mine to boot above 425MHz...
Is the NB / SB hot ?
Yes. Try locking the last memory timings to their auto values.Quote:

dont put too much volt, try 430 with auto should pass, how is the temp of NB ? very hot ? perhaps you suffer temp issue for your fsb above 420, dont know ...
