1000mhz is default...i said 1150mhz. I've got 2 sets each of the PC6400 ann, tracer, and regular ballistix, as well as 1000mhz tracer and reg ballistix. they all have same SPD programming.:fact:

Thats when I enabled EPP/SLI memory in bios.
yeah. I still don't quite understand what you are getting at. forgive me for being dense, but can ya just spell it out for me?
I don't know what you guys are going on about...but 2.2v is definately stock for these modules.
On another note, they still won't boot even when setting 4-4-4 timings and 2.3v in bios prior to putting them in. They are dead as door nails.
Sorry bout that Enjoy:( Hope the new one will fare better.
Hardware dying doesn't phase me haha... :p: I've been with the sickness for too long.Quote:

you better baptize the new ones before use :p:
So if they don't work after I toss them in some chrism (holy water), you'll send me a new set? :p: :DQuote:

I just recieved my set from the egg. They perform nothing like these sticks reviewed. Not stable even at 800 4-4-4-15 1t. will not post at 1000 5-5-5-15 2t 2.4v. Not performing at all like these other ballistix. Returning today.
@Nugzo....Can you activate EPP in bios?
Bummer nugzo, I take it you've tried everything to get them working (try different slots)? Did you happen to pull the spread off to make sure what IC's their running?
Dumo,
Your one of the few people I've seen who has run the EPP function, with that said how has it worked out for you? Now I've read through the manual as well as the official 680i Overclocking Guide but still don't completely understand how it works? Basically you set the "SLI Memory" to enable and then choose one of the CPUOC% values that you want to use right?
The part I don't understand is this, does it automatically overclock the RAM based on what value% you choose for CPUOC% and based on the computer system workload? Also do you leave the RAM Timings at Optimal because the system automatically changes timings latencys based on RAM speed? Thanks for any help you can give to help me understand basically what is going on when this setting is enabled!
@ Roger....If I'm not mistaken EPP is a second SPD on ram that bios automatically set (to overclock mem) in Nforce board.
You would be correct Master. ;)Quote:

I have problem wit Crucial 8000, i can read their SPD in CPU-Z but i cannot read the temporary settings in memory attachment like on the screen.

Why?
Did you open Memset before you opened cpu-z?Quote:

You can rest assured because the Crucial Tracers also use D9GMH IC's so they should do just as well. I'm not sure how each company binns their IC's but I think both kits are highly binned! Keep us posted on how they do.
not so encouraging though :(Quote:

OMG But I think U would try at 2.2 V 4-3-2-4-1T Great works .Guy:)Quote:
