You need to modify dimm and vcore. Shamino have done beautifull examples over at vr-zone.com Yes I'm doing all modification myself.Quote:

Long night ahead of me :)
EDIT: Better pics
would be a loooong nite :D
good luck bro ;)
Looks like you have a bit of testing to do there kinc :)
lycka till!
1st X6800 to test a week 17 same batch as the one I had before. Only slightly more stable. Going to test all on ln2 during the weekend as the result will differ on lower temps.
X6800 @ 4653MHz

Wow!! Talk about the hookup :D. If you can't find a beauty out of all those Marcus...unit looks nice too.Quote:

cant wait to see you find a killer CPU out of the batch :D
Maybe you will get 1 dud, 3 average and 1 good ? Enjoy the weekend, looking forward to your posts on how you get on.
Regards
Andy
Gonna take a little time to test all those kinc LOL. 85K at 4.65Ghz :toast:
cudoz - now lets rock and get another 88ooGtX ;)
iLL
Think I found a good X6800. OVP mod on motherboard doesnt work so low voltage. This is with ln2.

Looks like the condensation got me this time too... last time i got beat to 50 k by K|ngp|n...
But as always.. great job.. That 8800gtx of yours clocks like hell... gotta say....
mine stops at 920-930... no chance of even coming close to 1GHz...
Great Single card WR!
I am not done with this one ... that i promise you!! :D
I want that single card wr BACK....
hehe
But i guess this is a great opportunity to move on to SLI
got my containers today... and boy... they are nice...So i guess it is time to pull out the dewars...
And what a card! :slobber:
Monsterous score. :toast:
Anything left in there?
Excellent score for one card :toast:
Regards
Andy
dam this is great my Friend!!!
No go SLI on the Striker and take 100k down!
90K single card that is damn impressive
________
vaporizer
Oh, gratz on taht score man. 90k single is great :D
Hell, you'll be very close to 100k, if not surpast the barrier with a 5.3 GHz. chip
Great work !!
OMFG! 90k with a singel card! damn man I'm impressed than usually :)
Keep it up, go SLI and give us 100k ASAP!
Thank you guys :)
I'm thinking of trying the abit aw9d-max board or going back to p5wdh for som higher clocks. That is with 1.72V and high fsb so 5300 should not be imposible.
I think you'd need over 5.6 Ghz for 100K, 90K single is an incredible result already. Have you tried the card on a container yet to see if it has any more clocks in it?
Hey Kinc, how about to show us 3DMark2k6 Scores :)?
you should try ln2 on the card, also that cpu must have more in it
Yes, the best way to do it is SLI. Im sure the card has more in it, alot actually since im only holding -78C loaded with the cascade. -100 with a pot would give an extra headroom for sure. Wont do dual gpu-pot until dreamhack though cause I need the ln2 to test these x6800 and then I also have three qx6700 to test on asus striker and evga 680i boards. Im going to start testing the others 8800GTXs to find a match for the one I use now tomorrow. Will use a -100 cpu cascade on it. Could be some nice clocks acually.Quote:

I will as soon as I start testing QX6700 :)Quote:

The latest X6800 I tested didnt like colder then -115C though, one left to try. I thinnk the one I used for 90k can do 5.2 atleast on 1.8V+Quote:
