Can you post one of it in the pool? That would be Xtreme! :D

my fascination is combining extreme cooling with coustom built, non traditional style cases.
here is my setup that i build last summer :D
this is my "crystal shanty" mk1 (named because of huge size) , and mk2 is on the drawing boards.
this case is made of acrylic and includes a 5,000btu water chiller in the bottom half, while the computer sits on top. the resevoir is about 1.5 gallons and is also made of acrylic. i see water temps of around -8C to -12Cbut could be better but my cap tube is way too short i think, and im using crappy refrigerant charge. my cpu and nb are being cooled in this picture but i removed the nb block due to flow drop.
mk2 will include a homebrew direct die system and be much smaller than mk1 (a huge beast) and will be completed this summer.

(before wire management ;) )
Nice job ellsworth!

BTW. I think your work area is very logical in a "helter-skelter, beatles" sort of way! It's beautiful!
Great thread with even better pictures!!! :toast: I'll take a few pictures of my work area soon. I had to clean up the basement for Easter so it's actually looking pretty good down here. ;)
I'm still around, just not posting much since I have been a bit lazy with computer stuff lately. I basically have all my rigs set for under 140MHz FSB and on auto-pilot Folding.Quote:

thanks for the kind words :D. right now i am aircooled because my chiller was too big to take to college (so no crazy ocing :( ). as soon as i get back home in mid may i will start my new project and use my waterchiller to cool vid card and nb and use direct die phase change on my cpu. when i built my system last summer i didnt have a good chip to oc with, so i never really got any good numbers out of it.Quote:
