just got my card 1 hour ago, quick testing. :)

MSI 7900GTO 711/834

3dmark05: 11471

with my 7900GT @ 1.55V 665/1700 i got roughly 10.5K 3dmark05.

Not bad, I shipped mine about a hour ago for rma. Do the pencil mod and get the mem to about 1.9 or so then do a bios flash to like 650/800 and you will be well under way. Why I am waiting for my card to return I have some time to get my watercooling setup at least. Until then I am stuck with a 6600le, which I just ran 3dmark 06 with and scored a blistering 713 points. :p:

My gto died on part of the way through 06. But this 6600le is going like a champ, I put as5 on the hs and now I am ready for some serious benching. Planning to break 800 with this. :cool:

I got myself a GTO also and pushed from 650/660 to 705/770 with stock cooling and no MODS what are the settings that they can go to?

What drivers are everyone using for these cards? I don't know if the ones I'm using (91.47) are hampering OCing results. I am only getting a pathetic 686/780 outa my card.

Im using the xtreme G 92.21 and i just tried to 705\770 didnt try more but wanted to know what are there max OC without the bios flash my card´is the MSI 7900GTO 1.1ns :)

Unfortunately its a horrible game so I played an hour then uninstalled and going to sell the game. My god this has to be one of the most hyped games ever. Very disappointing.

I would like to see some FEAR and COH bench results with these cards.

no mods, no other cooling except a 80mm blowing on the side of the card. using atitool. just lucky i guess :rolleyes:

you gain Nothing!
i have tried with a XFX 7900GTX bios but im back with the original bios now.
GTO is faster with the same clock as a 7900GTX because the bios memory timings is lower.
so go for the original GTO Bios.
if you want to gain preformance you need to V Mod the card :)
i have done the GPU V mod and is up to 725MHz stable without artifacts.
thats with 1.55v

how high V is safe to go for the mem?

i get 1800 aswell without artifacts!
im running the mem at 2.0V but i dont know how high i can go.
