That's true, but memory shouldn't require active cooling to run at stock specs and voltage.

You can epoxy two 50mm fans together like this and then hold them down with rubber bands (60mm fans are a better fit):Quote:

Ive got almost the same set up with 60mm fans except i made a spacer out of delrin so the fans wouldnt sit directly against the memory. Also i ziptied the fans together front and back instead of epoxy.
Worked very well on my 3700EB and team xtreem chronus -5bf. Hope'n it works just as well with my crucials that are on order.
Are you all still having problems with this memory running at claimed speeds without active cooling? What about the Cell Shock memory? Thanks
Lala boy, are your results really that bad? The set of 6400C3s I have seem to do about that a ton less voltage.
I am not the most impressed person on earth with Team's RMA, but It is my own fault for putting off filling out that stupid form...
95% of the time I had to RMA to mushkin, I was on a first name basis with them and they really did go out of the way to make sure that I was happy.To be fair, they did send me a pair of BH-5 back in the day with parts FALLING OFF the PCB, but other than that and trying to give me hynix/Tccx for my 400$ BH-5 I was happy.
