It's great if it's legit...600FSB, i'm more convinced now since the new F5d beta bios has upped my own FSB to at least 420, with default MCH and FSB voltages.

420mhz...cpu-Z ver.1.36 show you rev.C1?Quote:

To post #77 - I'm currently cruising at 410Mhz x 8 on my E6600, just waiting for the DDR18V to be fixed and I'll be mega happy :D ( I can see 3.6Ghz on the horizon!!!)
Its known now, newer boards are shipping with rev C2.
CPU-Z 1.35 does not recognise it, and lists it as C1
CPU-Z ver 1.36 identifies the newer revision chip as C2 correctly.
I'll have mine tomorrow (DS3,only ordered last week) so I'll see if mine also ships with C2
And????Quote:

is there a marking or anything on the dq6 that shows its a C2? or a different revision #?

This overclocking makes you go bananas , There is one thing I would like to know is the boards potential is 600fsb , yeah.
Well if the multiplier is 11 or whatever it is then what is the bottleneck.Could the cpu sir coolaler was using get to 4.2ghz or what have you .
I see the board potential is 600fsb and the chip X6800 potential is .....?
For example on Vrzone where sir Shamino (great overclocker , good as coolaler or k[ngp]n) changed the bad overclocking board 590 and with the new bios he maxed the multiplier and got 4.6ghz.yaeh
All this said then can all conroes do this if the Bios lets it? the X6800 has a unlocked multiplier but isnt there a way to unlock the extra one like anandtech had us belive that you can do things like get a extra multi ?
That's nice fsb...only if you could go to 450mhz.And that's it!U dont need more....Quote:

yeah I've been having some issues. It will prime, run super pi, but as soon as I play BF2 for about 5 minutes it locks up, image stays on screen, cant ctrl-alt-esc out and have to hard re-boot.
Grrrrrr, tried lowering the CPU speed (by fsb & multi) but same problem. Must be the ram.
Have it on SPD now (which is incorrect @ 5 5 5 18 !!!)
StDId a 32m super pi no probs, so I have no idea what the issue is.
Coolaler, I can't trust you...
A 6x600MHz 5-9-9-x Single Channel RUN could NEVER make more than 17s. Impossible.
Single channel have 0.1-0.2s influence in SPI 1M RUN
Is this an other Quartz ?
anyone know default vcore for e6600?dq6 bios read default voltage for e6600 1.32V....this is default or bug?
On this vcore stabile 400mhz fsb and 3200mhz cpu on x8 multi....
Same sort of fake here :
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=114908&page=3
you mean same fake = c2 602fsb? why its fake?
Look at the pityful score with an x6800 @ 3600MHz...
Quartz removal I suppose
i dont think its fake, just really loose timings.
Open your eyes...
17.4s à 3600MHz with a 4Mb core...
Although single channel and CAS 6 timings it's impossible.
If you don't see the problem, I don't know how to finish my sentence smartly.
notice its 965 revC2 chip, also notice its slow on super pi
sure this thing clocks high , but poor performance clock for clock
tony said it uses 1600fsb strap for 600fsb
Hey great post try it and it comes right back to this very post, so seeing as if Google is obviously a better friend to you than me would you enlighten me as to what to put into your friend Google?Quote:

All I can say is wow! I sure hope I can even get 500 from my board......
hy,
my dq6 make 520mhz fsb.....now are my ddr2 ram full limit.....i cant test more.
here a screen from 500 1:1
- NO MODS
- ALL PASSIV, ONLY CPU COOLING
- NO MORE VOLTS, ALL DEFAULT!!! (only cpu gets more volts)
- ALL DEFAULT SETTINGS !!!!
