Not really...it did a strange thing tho...booted with lower settings like 11 x...then I went in bios..it was set at 13...I changed it, then changed it back to 13 and it kept it.Quote:

Not taking anything away from you there m8 - its a mighty fine clock youve got. IMHO though youll more than likely need LN2 to hit a 100% overclock on anything these days. Very, very few chips will be able to do it stable on a prometeia.
I reckon if you can get setfsb working youll be able to wind it up to 2933mhz for a cpuid grab. Id back up your windows install with ghost first though. When it falls over itll land hard ;).
Ive yet to see a 100% overclock on anything except LN2 apart from a few early 1.6a's and a couple of Dell 1.8a's. It may be possible if you can find one of these new Tbred B 1600+'s, but ive not found a place that sells the 1600+ in months, let alone a tbred version (A or B).

the cpu don't like higher voltages :/ so no chance, to get 2.9ghz :(
so the result is the same, like with my 0308 XPMW, but i need ~ 0.1V less VCore.
Can you run prime at that?
Mine bombed out running prime all night...I had to drop to 1750 to be rock stable. My board is no good to me unless it's 100% solid...nothing like being half way thru ripping a DVD and lose it all! :D
What did you have to do to chip to access 15x?
hmm i never tested prime for hours. when i reach test 10, its stable for me :D prime is overkill... i don't reach such high temps, when im playing for hours...

hmm strange, never had such problems with newer boards (kt400, nf2) :(
xtreme don't be ridiculous. Test 10?! You need to run that sucker for 24 hours or at least 12 + Super Pi every now and then to be able to say its stable.

i actulally blew the bridges hooking up my PSU to 2 needles and shorting out the bridges

Can you guys run 3Dmark without crashing? The speeds are impressive, but I wonder how stable. I'm seriously thinking about buying one of these little wonders.
If they can run prime, pretty sure they can do 3dmark. Yeah I am impressed also so I ordered one myself. I can only hope mine will be as impressive...

btw i had 4 1700+, 3 2100+ and 2 2400+ and they all did all multierpliers on NF2 boards ?!
all of my Tbred's, 4 1700's and 1 1800, had all multis available on my Abit KD7. (KT400)

Not necessarily true. I always run both to make sure. I have had instances where it would prime fine but the FSB would be too much for 3dMark.Quote:
