P5B has 8 phase and that enough, the 12 phase is overkill, the P5B has way better bios and clocks better imoQuote:

but it's impossible to boot with more than 1.58v and 2.3v with a DS4 even if the bios can...
hope for you that the DQ6 doesn't respond like it.
if the Board goes not good i send it back and Take die DFi Infinity or the ASUS P5BD
How are the fets cooled? Is it the stock heatsinks, minus the heatpipe? How did you do that?
Awsome job man, is that overclock now limited by the cpu or fsb? could you drop the multiplier and push the fsb any further?
'grats!
the fats are cooled by little sticky heatsinks , but don't need them, there not verry hot.Quote:

i skip the board and having a p5b now , running 553 fsb already unmodded....very nice board..:D
@ Rol-Co : are you using ES E6600? sorry LOL
I agree with the 12 phase being overkill (probably) ;)Quote:

I have 3 P5WD (for folding) and 1 P5B DL. I have tested 4 different E6600 with them (using exactly the same peripherals), and all of them do overclock lower between 50 and 80 MHz on the P5B. Maybe I got a "lemon" - otherwise I like the P5B.
