EDIT - this thread needs to be referenced (sticky maybe?). I'm noticing a substantial improvement in the load times for almost all my apps. Looks like MS's thread scheduler needed some work.

Any parallel release for Vista? Vista just runs like a dog in comparison now (and on my dual boot machine, they were once pretty close in speed).

On the link you posted it says these instructions for regedit are to DISABLE the tweak. Set that hexidecimal value to "1" to ENABLE.

Also where is this boot.ini/usepmtimer tweak?

System Properties, advance tab, Startup and Recovery section click on <Settings> button then click on <edit> button you add /usepmtimer to theend of the same line you find /fastdetect /noexeucte /usepmtimer
