I think the Ninja is just to much of a pain to mount. Going with the TTower120 or the TR Ultra 120 seems to make the most sense. I wait as long as possible for a TTower 120, if not then i get the TR Ultra 120.
Looking at a review of the NH-U12, the way it mounts worries me that the caps for the Asus P5B-Deluxe be in the way and won't be able to mount. Makes me more likly to go for TTower120 or TR Ultra 120.

Good point. H2O holds a much bigger load than air, much better temps (helps OC), and of course, very silent. Also, mounting is so easy, you'll have room to place a fan over the mem.Quote:

Honestly even with all the reviews results posted here, I put much more in real life user results with a large variety of up to date chips. And by this I mean I look at my peers here at XS and see what all the best OC'ers use... and it's overwhelmingly the Tuniq Tower 120, Coolaler, OPB, Denny, Andre, hicookie, Sierra.... all use the tower 120 on air for extreme air OC's. That's all I need to see. :) Now if I can only find one. ;)
I don't see how WCing is quieter ... WCing takes one or most likely two 120mm fans and these coolers (air) only use one 120mm. I can see it being better to take the video card fan out and the chipset fan also, but that kinda stuff really adds up ($). I think a basic (maybe swiftech kit) would cost about $350 or more after you added all that stuff on to it. At most any of these air cooling setups is costing $80CND with taxes and shipping.Quote:

Try to also bear in mind because Conroe is such a cool running chip, the difference between many of the very top air cooling solutions is likely to be down to a degree or two, maybe.

FWIW, I do appreciate the air benches just for reference.
I think its more the effort that you go to with water, rather than the price. Wacking a tuniq t120 on a mobo is a lot easier than anything water based that I've seen.Quote:
