they still have some available as they say but I received a notice that I 'be told when the board arrive ... :(
Not pretty to say they already have them to my sense ..
@goldenfrag , thanx for the tip although I do not plan to overclok that much :-)
Cheers
Been trying to order from these huys last night but they seem to ship to most european countries except uk
The maximum FSB setting in BIOS is 500 if you use the 504 BIOS. That's going to be plenty for most people. Running at 500FSB in Windows is not so easy. Only one person in the world has done it so far. And he was using a heavily-modified board.
And trying to run at 600FSB is just totally unrealistic. Think about it. If you have an E6600, that would mean 600FSB x 9 = 5.4GHz. No one has even done 5.1GHz yet with Conroe. Even 500FSB X 9 would be 4.5GHz. No one has done that either with an E6600.

Maximum VCore is 1.7v. Highest memory voltage is 2.4v. I would not recommend using more than 1.7v on any Conroe with air-cooling. I've been using 1.55v with air and 1.6 with phase-change cooling. Conroe does not get as hot as Prescott. But they still get very warm with 1.6v or higher.
Most Conroe users are probably going to run FSB in the 350-450 range. So having more than 500 in the BIOS is mainly for show. As I explained to someone else, it's like having a car with a speedometer that goes up to 200mph. But the car itself is capable of running at only 130.
^^ Yes, but it would be nice to know if this Board can actually do around 450 FSB.
Coz on Water cooling, people can surely, push their E6600's to 4 Ghz, thatll be around 445x9... so... Yea.. 450 FSB Stable is required !
Can somebody check it Scythe Ninja fits to this board?
Please.
450 FSB should be possible. I haven't tested my board yet for maximum FSB.
Many people new to Intel don't seem to understand the relationship between FSB and CPU speed. Once they do, they'll realize why even 500FSB is going to be more of a dream than a reality.
I don't have that heatsink. Sorry. I use a Tuniq Tower 120 which is huge, and it fits.Quote:

I think this board is a little faster than the Bad Axe, if you look at comparable speeds and times.

Can you publish 3d 2k1? It is allowed :)Quote:

Seems that extra 2MB cache gives a nice boost
yes. i make a fresh 3d 2k1 today with 2940 MHz:
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9002020
AND i fix the windows-shutdown-reboot-bug YEAH!!!!!
Good to hear. How did you fix the problem?
my answer to the
WINDOWS-SHUTDOWN-REBOOT-BUG (WSRB) (patent pending):
BE CAREFUL with USB Port 3 and 4!!

today i check every power connection on the board, but nothing helps me. then i unplugged all unnecessary USB cable and my windows shutdown normal without reboot
so i insert the USB cables one by one and test my system.
after i insert the USB hub or my USB Fan controller in Port 3 or 4, the system goes down and make a reboot.
the manual say this:

i have now idea to deactivate this feature. now i have my keyboard/mouse in port 4 and an USB extension cable on port 3. And it works perfect.
Good to know. Thanks for doing all the checking. I'm not using any USB devices, so I would have never known.
any new updpates with your overclock since i notices you can now add voltage?
I bet we will see 500FSB on the P5W DH Deluxe very soon. Kinc had a ES of that board which made 459 or something and he will get the retail one without bugs in a couple of days. I will decide wheter to go for it or not when I see what he can pull off ;)
I just need a board which can give me lots of FSB :) hm maybe everyone does? :P
Have you tried P5W sierra_bound?
Yes, I've tried the board. See these posts in the thread. ;)

Won't have much time to test today. Have other things to do. Will probably switch to SS cooling by tomorrow. My CPU should do 4.2GHz+ with no problems.
Is that gocchin in your avatar? Are you a Jpop fan?
only 420 MHz FSB = 2940 MHzQuote:

Ah, you must have visited gocchin's Jpop website. In that song, you keep hearing the words "baka mitai". That basically means "I feel like an idiot." Haha. You can find the English translation of the song here. That phrase can also refer to someone else, like "What an idiot."Quote:
