you don't really need another gas you can just use the propane, add either a pretty long cap tube (you only want to flush with it and not cause massive floodback. so you probably need about 5 meters) between a place where there is liquid propane and the CO2 entrance of the HX, the co2 will condens along with the liquid propane forming a nice mix. Or a shorter cap tube between the discharge (everything gas) and the CO2 entrance of the HX. both methods have some advantages but I think I like the short cap tube the most just because you don't need a massive cap tube.
