Bitlord , site i use is torrentspy
You mean this one?
Torrentspy Acts to Protect Privacy
Sorry, but because you are located in the USA you cannot use the search features of the Torrentspy.com website.Torrentspy's decision to stop accepting US visitors was NOT compelled by any Court but rather an uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy and an apparent tension between US and European Union privacy laws.
µTorrent here. It's simply the best, smallest and fastest BT client around. What more could you ask?
I rather not discuss what torrent sites i use... find um yourself!
I find isoHunt to be very good.
BitComet + Demonoid = FTW :D
utorrent and isohunt+moviex.info
utorrent + piratebay.org
utorrent + private torrent sites
µTorrent all the way here
Bitlord v1.01
Sites, Torrentleech.org / Isohunt.com
Bitlord !
uTorrent with PeerGuardian to block unwanted IP pinging. As far as sites go I just search a crap load for the same file and load all the trackers.
uTorrent FTW
utorrent user here. :yepp:
Azereus. It is open source and on sourceforge. This, to me, seems to eliminate spyware or malware concerns. Not that I am going to compile and build it. Just that there are those that do and will cry foul. Plus no one has any benefit to malware and opensource project (unless they rip it off and put it on their own site). I hate seeing googlebar or crap like that as part of the install, because even though you uncheck it, who know what they are still trying to sneak in there.
I am open to try others as long as they are opensource and have their code on sourceforge. Which of these others mentioned here are on sourceforge?
Is µTorrent opensource?
I use utorrent, been most compatible with the various sites i use.
uTorrent under Windows, Azureus under Mac OS X and Linux.
Pirate Bay universally... Looking for a private tracker though.
Those rare occasions that I use torrents I fire up Azureus. Haven't really bothered to try any other prog since I hardly ever use torrents anyways.
well utorrent with web gui addon is da best :D
u can upload torrent from anywhere to the pc .
utorrent + btjunkie = all win
utorrent+aradi tracker
utorrent + isohunt or suprnova or TPB...
Azereus Vuse + isohunt/mininova.org= PUR PWNA6E
Azureus Vuse + torrentbytes.net and filelist.org has been my bread and butter for about 4 years now:rocker:
uTorrent 1.6.1
Before the Call-Home feature was added.
uTorrent and on Linux Deluge.
Bit Comet for the Win!!!!
rtorrent + 100Mb VPS :p
Real men use USENET :D
Azureus and Torrentz/isohunt :)
Found new love in rtorrent under linux. It's probably the best console based client I've used to date. Once you get used to the control scheme it's VERY powerful.
KTorrent :D
does what it has to do and since azureus just doesn't want to give me any connection... :shakes: i dumped it, like nero, and windos... :ROTF:
uTorrent.
I hated Azureus Vuze, they turned a really nice program into crap...
why don't you guys start a poll?
it's much easier to figured out peoples favourit...
i've used for long time azureus too, but i'm using flashget these days :p:
I've never tried any of the BT programs in the past becouse I thought they're complex to use, but not anymore!
I downloaded the newest uTorrent 1.8 beta from a link on another site, and my experience turned out to be just like everyone has commented in here.
It's so easy to use and once you've digged into it, you're going to get hooked!
Now BT has opened the doors to countless possibilities that I have been hoping for in the past.
I can't find any reasons for not using it other than the risks of getting viruses (mostly trogens).
In that case, it can be easily taken care of with an anti virus program such as Avira Premium Security Suite that I currently use.
It's awsome and has blocked all the viruses that tried to exploid in my system from the files I downloaded through uTorrent.
So anti-virus is a must!
+1 uTorrent
I use uTorrent 1.7.7. Its so easy to use, very intuitive and straight forward I couldn't be happier.
vuze.. u shld add a polll
i use flashget :D
utorrent :D
Small footprint and I do mean SMALL. Works perfectly. Couldn't be happier.
Utorrent and Demonoid myself
BitTorrent v6.0.3, very clean interface, highest d/l speed was about 550 kbps, I enjoy the fact that you can watch each piece be downloaded. I have tried BitLord and it was a mess, it was so cluttered and had ads everywhere, it was horrid.
For trackers I tend to avoid public trackers cause most of the torrents are infected and can be tracked easily. Private trackers FTW.
For people using uTorrent 1.7.7 or below there is a major flaw with .torrent files that can cause a buffer overflow. It is recommended to download 1.8

Vuze + Demonoid
FTW :p:
For Windows, I use uTorrent. I found it very easy to use.
On Linux (which is obviously where I spend most of my computer time), I use Ktorrent. It's one of the few KDE apps that doesn't try to take over my non-KDE WM/DE.
As far as torrent sites, I prefer isohunt and pirate's bay, but I've been known to use mini nova from time to time.
Can anyone invite me to demonoid?
It might just be my intrawebs, but my isohunt torrents absolutely crawl.
Oh and uTorrent absolutely.
(jazaret13@gmail.com; jazaret@lawrencepumps.com)
azereus for the mac and utorrent on the pc, mininova & tpb
uTorrent FTW:up:. Honestly, I figured all the rest would have dried up by now. Azureus/Vuze? Bit Comet? Really?
uTorrent hands down, at one point I was into BitComet but now I'm not looking back, uTorrent ftw.
uTorrent concept is exactly what I like in a software, it does what it's supposed to do with no extra bling bling, keeping resource usage to the minimum, basicly you don't notice it's running.
All I've ever used is uTorrent; works fine for me.
got to echo everyone else, Utorrent FTW!
uTorrent domination.
Too bad. Azuerus was pretty good before it got bloated, then bought out.
rtorrent, hands down! Definitely the best torrent client for fastest speeds (on connections 10 megabits to 1 gigabit) probably not much different if you aren't on a fast connection.
I use bitlord kinda nice didnt like all the extra crap in vuze so maybe I'll try out utorrent.
utorrent but i have started to look at bitorrent is there any mind to change ?
uTorrent :D:up:
Deluge!
Bitcomet.
uTorrent
BitSpirit for sure
i love it:up:
definitely utorrent, low memory usage and very clean interface. azureus sucked up too much ram when i had a slow com in the past
vuze (azureus), utorrent is partly owned by the mpaa, if you use peerguardian youll see utorrent being blocked, azureus is heavy on the ram, but i got a server that runs it so i dont care
uTorrent.
U.TORRENT and demonoid.com iptorrents.com BOTH for downloading always clean awsome speeds :)
utorrent
azureus (vuze with old 2.xxx interface) on private trackers almost exclusively.
uTorrent here.
Vuze, but i miss ABC.
With ABC, when i added a torrent it would download as a normal P2P program would.
With Vuze, when i add a torrent it allocates that torrent's complete file size to my hard disk, and then starts downloading
uTorrent on my main comp, Deluge on my server and lappy.
Utorrent + Demonoid
utorrent all the way.
to who said utorrent is partly owned by the MPAA.. how is that?
what is the best ipfilteR?
Torrentflux (Bittornado back-end)
Controlling my torrents from very location I want to.
Heh, forgot all about this thread.
My main comp runs uTorrent since it is on Windows.
Deluge on my lappy and server since they run various Linux distros.
I might need Vuze in the future since I am very much considering buying a Mac or making a Hackintosh. I loved Azereus when it first came out, but it got WAY too bloated and corporatized for me to use it. Anyone know if the Mac version is any better than the PC one?
uTorrent is NOT owned by the MPAA. They got bought out by BitTorrent INC, since they could never make a good client.
Vuze (Azureus) .. and old style look.. quite fast, lots of things to setup.. good for me.
I still use the old bitcomet .70 with all the exploits speeds are faster than utorrent and does not come bloated with any of the crap that the later clients have.
Utorrent, great program, you dont notice its running, doesnt affect performance, even on older hardware.
Utorrent FTW all others Fail at life x3
another Utorrent user!
hehe, u torrent here too.
This thread definitely need a poll
Mainly use Vuze. I never get good speeds on Utorrent no matter how I play with the settings.
Vuze 4.0.0.2 with classic interface.
uTorrent v1.6 with ip blocker generated by Blocklist
utorrent
Utorrent by far.
Definitely UTorrent, so light and everything!
Have switched from Vuze to uTorrent, literally no performance difference of any kind to be had but switching back would be additional hassle so i'll stay put. One thing Vuze has over it is the ps3 transcoding and streaming app built in.
I have used Utorrent for the last couple of years. Have all the setting and adjustments you could ever ask for. Frequently updated and fast.
I tried Vuze the other day. I like that you can search for small videos n stuff but the program itself is really slow and bloaty. Uninstalled it pretty fast ; )
I've been using Vuze for the past year or so. I've tried uTorrent and a few others since then, but when Vuze is properly setup... it's by far my favorite. Nothing sluggish about it IMO.
uTorrent + ISOHunt never done me no wrong.
Vuze+ISO Hunt. Vuze is the fastest and I have sampled at least 3 other clients.
Utorrent + PeerBlock
I use Transmission on Ubuntu
