I tried different settings and when Trp is set to 3, memtest passes at stockspeeds. So 200Mhz at 2-2-3-8 @ 3.2V is memtest stable.
210 with same settings is also stable, but 220 fails. I cannot get 220 stable now, even with more volts.
Btw where is the vdimm measuring point on this board? I think the bios is incorrectly reporting the vdimm.

1) I would test the modules individually first
2) The vDimm testing point is on that big mosfet with 5 pints all on the one side... and big tab on the other side. Take the reading from the big tab.
You'll find the mosfet at the top right corner of the board, when it is installed in a case. For me that point is usually bout 0.3v-0.5v overvolted... but my rails are higher than stock.
I decided to give up on memtest and tried some 3dmark.
2k1 is stable at 10x265 2-2-2-8 @ 3.5V so I don't care about memtest anymore :)
265 is Pifast and spi1M stable also.

At least we know why people with Intel are not postings results.

Have you done the burning in? I have no problem with my 4 X 512MB TMSP/0503/44D on i865PE(Abit AS8) and i875(Asus P4C800 Dlx). This is a screenie for P4C800-D. I can get higher on i865PE because of the PAT thingy. Disable PAT on i875 won't help to get higher FSB. Anyway, I am happy with 250 FSB @ 3.5v with PAT enabled.Quote:

edit: when i first got them, they did about 205 2-2-2-5 or so at 3.2/3.3v. anyways, what i did was to burn them in at 3.3v 2.5-2-2-5 at whatever speed they would do with the least/no errors in the first 5 passes of test 5 for 8 hours. did this for about a week or so gradually increasing fsb and voltage. burning in worked for me. hope this helps.

Weirdly enough though, it doesnt matter how tight I make all the timings at 3.3 it wont give me any errors, and if i loosen some of the timings at 3.4 it wont give me any extra
I also get errors at 261 at 3.4volts which is really weird

BTW, i've broken my personal bandwidth record with more than 4000 (i dunno how much exactly). If i achieve a better cooling solution, i would raise more the vdimm, because i'm expectant too :D

Currently testing my new system since friday and I just went to 240mhz and now 250mhz with 3.3 volts using info from this thread, its stable in memtest #5 so far but had some trouble with "memory read" errors in CS:S but i think i fixed that with a command line :cool:

This Twinmos UTT "50D" chips is some freaky stuff.
Did volt scale testing, one stick, 8,2,2,2.0 on my NF7-S vmod'd dimm/dd/tt. Clearly the NForce2 hits a wall and it is a chipset issue.
3.2-3.35 yeilds 245Mhz 1T 8,2,2,2.0,
3.15V yeilds 240Mhz,
3.04V yeilds 225Mhz,
2.93V yeilds DEAD @ 2,2,2 so 8,3,3,2.5 @ 205Mhz max.
A sharp voltage curve that comes to an abrupt end when it hits the NForce2 wall, A64 reports show another 10-20Mhz in the ram that the AthlonXP cant get at.
Indicative of CH5ness in that low voltage and 5,2,2,2 timing not doable. Counter-indicative of CH5 is that 8,2,3,2.0 does NOT add any Mhz on NForce2. Making me think the improvements they made took away some of the 2,3,2.0 character of CH5.
Also, this ram is SERIOUSLY heat sensitive. If I turn the side fan off, and let the chips warm up they error-out 20Mhz lower per voltage setting.
The NF7-S wont do 250Mhz in memtest without erroring, while the DFI Infinity will. So the wall comes down a little sooner on the ABit than the DFI.
Nice thing is the 245Mhz is the fastest results I ever got on a NF7-S in single stick mode (thanks to 1T). Im using TicTac's D26MantaXT with CPC ON for testing. CPC OFF didnt do a thing for max FSB. Ill have to switch in the 2nd stick for dual channel test next.
i hit wall at 248 and 245 with 2nd stick....

Hi, i have some great troubles using my UTT on DFI ULtra-D
Whatever the timings i set, the 2x512 set do many errors while performing memtest as soon as i set something higher than 2.5-3-3-5 200MHz. I even tried to raise the voltage up to 3.5V but it doesn't help
Using them in single chanel helps a few but i aboslutely need dual
May i miss an important point on this board ?
EDIT : May i should raise Vcore to help the memory controller ? ( 9x300 Primeable Vcore stock / stock cooling )

i just thought that if it scaled to 240 2-2-2, with looser timings it would jump to like 280 2.5-x-x. I guess vx/utt is only good for high tight timings which for intel platforms isnt the best of news.

TwinMos is unavailable in Canada :( or else I'd buy in a heartbeat. That speed premium stuff is jaw dropping good. So I have to "settle" for TCCD, hopefully doesnt run out by the time I decide on which rig to get. But yeah there hasnt been any definitive good Intel ram since muskin's lvl II 3500 which OPB still uses as main bh-5 sticks and owns every time with them :DQuote:

I'm not sure because I never had CH5... BUT, I have had BH5 and VX/UTT. I can tell you I have NEVER gained over 1MHz from looser timings... I wouldn't expect much, and even if you do get a few MHz it wont be enough to make up for the looser timings

Is there any results out yet with the new BH-5 chips on UTT? I know we got a store in Sweden which have them in stock and another will have them very soon. My currently UTT is CH-5 which runs perfectly in 1.5-2-2-6 3.3v 250mhz. Just wonder if there is any gain to change to BH-5.
