hey can i gain a few more miliseconds?
i tried almost every timing but most of them weren't stable at this speed/vdimm...
mfg
play with tref first....if that don't work, go to work on trrd and tras
trrd down to 1 if you can, tras down to 0 if you can, raise idle cycle limit if you need to....SHOULD work...might not be enough though.
sorry was the wrong screen.....this was just max at 3,6 v....
i need more power in this config:

thx
mfg
EDIT: i used the exact timings as for the 270mhz screen
What the heeeelll ;)Quote:

My gskill GH seems like hit the wall at 260mhz at 2-2-2-5 at 3.55vdimm. Anything more than 260mhz will give me memtest errors and failed to run SuperPi 1 million and 3d benchies. But managed to run sisoft and everest. Of course prime95 failed instantly
What BIOS are you using? The best ones for me have been 310 (:D yes, 310) and 510-2F. Right now i'm on 623-3 and seems to be fine too.
702-2
And new timmings...
11 trfc is rock stable...
241.4mhz 3.2v (3.18)..
11 hours memtest86+ (40 loops?) + 5000% scan @ memtest for windows :)
I tried 310(official), 623-3(official), 704-2, 510-2, 618-1,618-2 and 618-3 and all seems the same to me. Mentest errors atn 265mhz.
Now using 623-3 and doing burn-in at 261mhz
Yes. Burning can help you. I suggest too check with Hellfire 510-2 or Merlin 510-2.
BTW, over 240Mhz, here my GHs on 3.1V.

Nice. Man. 3.1vimm at 240mhz. Do u think you can get 250mhz at 3.2vdimmmhz??? If possible, that is really a superb :)Quote:

Can run 8M error free at 241.4mhz at 3,03v I think... ;) - Been down to 3.1v in periodes... but it seems to be unstable vdimm :(
Thought I'd add my results in after burning in this pair for some time.

Try play with Tref, Drive Strength and Data Drive StrengthQuote:

In 240Mhz-3.1V yes, it was with 623-3.
About 250Mhz-3.2V, yes, my GHs can. But not 8M or more stable, my max stable at 3.2V is 4M. That was on 510-2F Bios (CPU-Z recognized it as 623, but you can distinguish by "slot #1").
I even needed to relax tWRT to 2 and RPT to 5.5ns for gain stability. Furthermore, i needed put a fan :D
My working Drive/Data over 250Mhz are L6 and L2, but only in 510-2F, in 623-3 i can't, it's necessary to use weak mode (L5 and L2), at least for me.

Right now i'm on TCCD. I hope in this weekend come back to UTT.
Thx for the tips. Will try tonight and post back some result here. :)Quote:

Check with A64tweaker.
Could I get some pointers on my GH? I'm on a DFI SLI-DR. I'd like to get them to at least 270. Here's where I'm at right now.

Hey I have managed to get both of my kits to get upto 250 2-2-2-5 @ 3.2V. 255 @ 3.4V is possible. 260-265 will be tried but as of now don't actually have time to push it .... work. Shamino, bro thank you for these fantastic Kits!

I'd suggest this: (in A64Tweaker format)
Left: 2-7-12-2-0, 2 or 3-2,3 or 5-2-2-1-2-3120 (set in BIOS)-1
Right: 16x-128-D-D-7x-7-5-16-D-200-E-Weak (L5,L2=Weak works fine in many configurations on 250Mhz) - D
Vdimm = 3.2V or 3.3V

Was outside though, and I live in the cold north, so it was about 0 to -5 deg C @ mem... :D (GPU was in idle, but clock @ +5 deg C)
9NS?
that's the way too loosen if you ask me.....

async and preamble despends alot on divider, and I use divider, if 3290*10 and ram: 3290/10 = 329 mhz it would be more like 6...Quote:

At first i was like dr000000l till i found out the temp. Still awesome results none the less.
just wondered because i ran my GH 3,6vdimm 275,5 mhz at 7ns/4ns.....but yeah this isn't important for the performce. i think so ,too.

Hehe, They got 3.66v :) (3.7v but my board undervolt's :()
Didnt try lower preamble, could properly do less, but... It was outside and its a bit late, hehe :)
what about latest product numbers how do they clock ??
Did anyone buy it and want to share with some results ?
Just bought a new DFI LP UT nF4 Ultra-D and A64 Venice 3200+ . Currectly own 2x512MB Gskill GH. What's the best bios for this ram and any recommended setting for Gskill GH ? Thanks!
... and it looks like they've bumped off my old school BH-5 and Twinmos CH-UTT as my defaul low latency benching sticks. For $140 they are very nice!

Could you guys verify if these are STILL UTT-BH ????,
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...factory=BROWSE
@Aleman
its UTT its going up to 260Mhz 2-2-2-5 around 3.5 to 3.6 Volt
regards splmann
I received mine Thursday, each module can do 250mhz at 3.3v.
But they won't play nice with each other after about 210mhz, get thousands of error's in memtest. Have to have 1 stick in at a time to get 250mhz. Slots don't matter still get thousands of error's when both sticks are installed at the same time.
:( mine doesn't like to do more than 210 2.2.2.6@ 2.6-3.3V
mine doesnt either, but i dont think thats the ram. it memtests fine. just wont run windows stable.
Mine will only do 260 at 3.6v stable wont go any more.
But hey I cant complain my ocz 3200vx needs 3.6 to to 250.
mine are working fine @ 245 mhz @ 3.1v havent pushed any farther yet.

Heres GH with 3.6V...

Hi
This is my G.Skill 2*512Mo GBGH (bought in USA :) ) that I use all days :
1,5-2-2-5 1T @ 238 @ 3,2v with my A64 X2 4400+ @ 2618mhz @ 1,488v
http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/3...base6fo.th.jpg
The Super PI score is bad because I was listenning to music and no optimisation inside ;) It's just to show you.
My Super PI 1Mo record is 28,500 with (Tyrou's) G.Skill..........TCCD 2,5-4-3-5 1T @ 295 @ 3,0v & A64 X2 4400+ @ 2952mhz @ 1,76v :D
I test max FSB at 1,5-2-2-5 & at 2-2-2-5 soon ;)
PS : sorry for the mistakes :slapass:
Are these recent purchases?
-53c, very nice.

It's not wonderful, but It's stable :)

My CPU limits the score because he doesn't want 3000Mhz or more grrrr
Nice results, but when your CPU'll stop limit your score, call me :D
This is what I manage to bench SPi32M at - 271MHz 5-2-2-2.0-1T --> S/N: 0508xxxxxxxxx
Also, this is another SPi32M run from a buddy of mine - 272MHz 5-2-2-2.0-1T --> S/N: 0512xxxxxxxxx
some deal for XS member :)

Just got mine to 270 using 3.7v
Quent : It's a good idea :p: I need a WaterChiller to go to 3000Mhz...
bachus_anonym : Thanks Mister, I'll try the same A64 Tweaker parameters soon ;)
My G.Skill are in 1,5-2-2-5 @ 268 @3,7v :) I have 4,0v max with my DFI :D
The cooling of the G.Skill is not a problem, I have 1*120mm and 1*80mm on them...
I love voltage (my X2 between 1,744v and 1,81v :wth: ), but I don't want to kill my G.Skill UTT-BH5 :kissbutt:
CAS 2 has not been tested, only CAS 1,5 :slapass:
EDIT : bachus_anonym : My G.Skill --> S/N: 0504xxxxxx :) (without HeatSpreader because before 0508xxxxxx)
G.S Technician,
One of my GH sticks got problem, only test#8 in memtest is error free, other tests give me errors, even at default timing and voltage. But the "sick" sticks still able to do 240 @ 2-2-2-5 with Prime, Pi32m & 3DMark stable.
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/8...ulty7ho.th.jpg
When running dual channel, it also errors free in test#8 only. Test#5 give the errors at same address and size. But still can do 250 @ 2-2-2-5 with Prime & Pi32m stable.
http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/6909/250pi2tt.th.jpg
So, what happen with the "sick" stick actually?
gsan : I give you my A64Tweaker's parameters, you can try this if you want :)
(because I think you have strange parameters like TRRD, TREF...)
http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/2...nshot9y.th.jpg
Santo, before the "sick" stick got problem, i was able to run dual channel 258 with the same timing and memtest error free for almost 6hours. But will try your setting later and see how's going on.Quote:

anybody have any tips?
well with my rdx200 it's so completly different to overclock the ram.
it's killing me!!!

so far so good.....but u won't believe if i tell you that 5 minutes after this 16m-run the windwos freezed and after reboot i wasn't even able to do 1m.
so this board is :banana::banana::banana:in me up :D
i really need help with it.
mfg
Able to do 255 @ 1.5-2-2-5 at 3.5v. But still only memtest test #8 errors free. Already tried few different bios with couple times of different memory tuning in bios but the result still same here. why? :confused:Quote:

look sexy, anybody have any results for 260fsb ddr520? trying to find something to replace my ballistix, they did 260fsb 2.5-2-2 at 2.9v:D :D
Well, most of the sticks do 250+ Mhz, 260 won't be too hard. This is what my best pair can do :
http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/6275/2861yp.th.jpg
they look pretty nice:cool: but how much voltage for running about 260? and also, what type of cooling u got in it?
I've used good aircooling, about 0C did the job :)
