Hmm I had to give my PQI Black 2.8v to boot into windows @ 2-2-2-5 @ 200fsb on an XP system... Seems to be stable, but I'm not even sure it is! Maybe that's just the XP system? May have to RMA mine as well...Quote:

Wow you've had 5 sticks of 512mb PDP? Did you have to RMA a bunch of times or what? So far I can't even get to 250 HTT with timings 2.5-4-4. According to their webiste I should be able to do that with 2.5-3-3. Looks like I'm going to have to RMA.Quote:

Said it once, I'll say it again, try running one stick, and seeing how it does. It just might be your mem controller..Quote:

got mine! after moving em around a bit they are indeed stable @ 2 2 2 6 1t !! woohoo!
so far have benched up to 237x11.5 2 3 2 7 2t 3500/3250+ mb's ! Not sure what im gonna run em at yet but i like the high FSB cas 2 vs low fsb 1t operation so far. very finicky rams with the kt600 board but i am finding new limits!
WOuld it be better to rip the heatspreaders off? They seem to just make em warmer to me.
i must buy 2x512 mb of ram........
but i have 2 kit
OCZ PC4400 EL
or
geil pc 4400
what is the best for oc???
Not being a flame starter at all, I just wanted to remind you to search first because there are a bunch of these types of posts. For my opnion, the OCZ will be better
Every Mem with TCCD Chips on it !!!
for example: Corsair Rev 4.1 Pc 3200 (there is a Thread here)
They did 340mhz with only 3v !
i searched for this thread, but i didn´t find it... what is the exact name of the Corsairs?Quote:

Not mine. They wont memtest at anything over 240MHz 2.5-3-3-10, at any voltage of 2.8v and under.Quote:

ive read the hole thread and could'nt find this, but can someone confirm that the pdp 256mb 5-2-2-2 sticks have tccd also ??
First page:
"Patriot Extreme Performance PDC5123200+XBLK ~ Brainpower PCB"
:D
thats the 512 , i was wonderin if the 256 was the same :)
anyone live near a fry's? Im like 45min away and dont want to drive it and be disappointed but when i called and asked about the 2x512 patriot/pdp xbl the guy on the phone said it was out of stock but it would normally be $179.99
pdp xl can't be 179,99
I dont think so. Last time I checked fry's (Fremont CA), it was 260 + tax. :(
I've seen some PDP at Fry's for that price, but it wasn't XBL, it was the regular LL stuff. The heatspreader looks the same so maybe the clerk got confused.
I get G-Skill new pc4800 TCCD Dual 2.7v 2.5-3-3-5 1T....... :toast:

Hello,
The ADATA PC4800, is Hynix B or TCCD
I have receive two stick ... one TCCD and one Hynix B :stick:
:mad:Quote:
Stick A
Vdimm = 2.8V
210 Mhz 2-2-2-5
251 Mhz 2-3-3-5
269 Mhz 2.5-3-3-6
318 Mhz 2.5-4-3-6
Vdimm = 3.1V
Pareil, voir 2 Mhz en plus :D
TCCD detecded
Stick B
Vdimm = 2.8V
2-2-2-5 pas possible
253 Mhz 2-3-3-5
270 Mhz 2.5-3-6
Vdimm = 3.1V
265 Mhz 2-3-3-5
281 Mhz 2.5-3-3-6
Timing de merde pour monter plus haut ...
Pas TCCD, donc Hynix B :(
Please, buy PC4500 ADATA, and not PC4800 ...
PC4800 is most expensif, and not better, and risk og have Hynix B
good job

and my "old" 130nm didnt go further than 10x265
think my bios is a lil buggy tho and im gonna try seeing what the new 1.4b1 bios does :)
Patriot XBL is some juice loving ram indeed now that ive went 2 2 2 7 timings @ 222FSB with 2.85 volts it doesnt want to run well at any less voltage:eek: ! Anyone wanna sell a booster :D
anyone has better picture of A-DATA DDR 566 module ?
any sticker sticked on it ?
@jethro: your sig?? --- Aud2-->Aud2 hack --- what is that? what does it do? an how can i do it?

just got this mail from twinmos (regarding BP)
Hello,
we use no Brainpower PCB but our TwiSTER pro showed in different tests that they don´t have to hide behind BP PCB modules.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards,
Alexander Rüdinger
how high does average tccd goes with 2-2-2-5 1t ,and whats the max volt can it be used for daily use?
my system:
A64 3000+@2,7 ghz daily with waterbox
Epox 8KDA3J with vdimm moded
ocz pc3200 platinium rev 2.
average....I'd guess something like 250-240s...I'd give em about 2.8v or so. Altho it might not go that high on that tight of timings, but those TCCD sticks sure seem to be doing well.
How is A-DATA DDR 566 doing? And are they Brainpower PCB?
the best mine will do @ 2 2 2 7 is 225 FSB but my kt600 board is very sensitive to mem timings. it responds to em really well also ;). Currently @ 2 2 3 7 @ 235 FSB 2.85v
Is there any way to tell if the sticks has BrainPower PCB or not...????
yeah it says right on the end of the pcb so you dont even have to take the heatspreader off. for instance my pqi says b6u808 which is the 808 pb pcb :)
Read through the whole of this thread, but couldn't find anyone, but gotta ask:
Anybody tried 2 x 1024 MB (= 2GB total) on any A64 board with TCCD chips?
What speed / latencies did you manage to squeeze out of them?
the Patriot XBL is indeed the 815 pcb. thanks for the tip xerxes!
I've got OCZ DDR400 EL RAM...I'm trying to remember what type of chip it has....it might be BH-5 but I don't remember....any idea?
have someone tested this ones ?

the price is not too bad...

From the looks of it the "E" TCCD overclock a tad better then the "F".
Anyone know which BP the G.skill "LE" modules are using? 808 or 815?
Trying to decide before buying. ..... ThanX :D
I'm considering the following modules. Which would be most likely to get me to 300? Do not consider the price in your recommendation. I want the best memory. These should all be TCCD with BrainPower PCBs. Some are 808 and others 815.

from when PQI PC4000 is TCCD ?
you copied links wrong hehe
Use "Brainpower 815"Quote:

you can't missed with either of them
you can find also OCZ EL 3700 or 4200...hehe
I'd go whith the PQI if money is an object. But more likely with the Corsair.
I'm an OCZ fan so I'd buy that, or the Patroit RAM. Both look fine, Corsair puts out nice RAM as well, so I'd just go for the cheapest.

I've always been a Corsair XMS fan. I just received payment for my CMX512-3500C2. Shipping it to the Phillipines for $350. Shipping should be about $20, so I've got enough to buy the best. Can any of you give me a reason to buy something other than the Corsair XMS4400? Is the $220 Patriot just as good. I realize it's the same TCCD chips on the BrainPower 815 PCBs. I'm just trying to break this idea that the Corsair will be better.?????
Huh? Im not following :confused:Quote:

ive had mushkin pc3200 lvl2 rev2 for about month or two now, and havent been happy with them at all
right now running at 216 async on neo2 2-2-2-5 1T @ 2.85v (max on mobo)
with 2t i could go to 260 (loose timings)but at like 3.2v and i see others going that high on like 2.8v
ordered some PDP xbl stuff just now with ocz booster, hoping for best.
hey fellas, sorry I haven't updated my post in a while, been very busy :(
I'm thinking of picking up some Samsung PC3200 TCCC, someone posted results here and it wasnt bad at all...
£90 all in.
unless of course Gskill is in the uk yet...
the runner update list please :D
The Runner, as your in the uk.. have you thought of looking into geil pc3200 ultra X? ime in uk and i saw a nice review where some people got DDR600 out of them on relaxed timings? :D
Is this for sure TCCD? Anyone tried it? How is it compared to the A-Data Vitesta PC4000 ?
yes micutzu it's TCCD
What? A-DATA 500Mhz with TCCD chipes?
I was asking about the Twinmos Twister in the link ... A-Data PC4000 is not TCCD ;).
Thanks TEDY.
Thx, then I need buy 566Mhz A-DATA.
After the vdimm mod, I am succeded to get 225 fsb 1:1 dual 2-2-2-5 timings for my Vitesta ddr600's @3.6 v.
how much vdimm meke? i can only do 217 2 2 2 7 but i only need 2.7v
he said 3.6v
dagum thats alot of juice! guess not for xtreme :)
I connect the 3.3 V rail directly to dimms as Vo=Vdimm mod.
My Ocz 520 can give up to 3.8V to 3.3 Rail, I tried it, but my cpu is burning, so I couldn't go more than 225 fsb.
Yesterday, I was succesfull to boot 240 fsb 1:1 DUAL 2-2-2-5 @ 3.6 V but windows restarted.
Hi everybody!
I'm in the market for a new mainboard and some new memories! I already have an Athlon64 3400+ (Clawhammer) I haven't ocerclocked it yet, so I'm just wondering if it overclocks fairly good ? Because I can't decide wether to purchase PC4500, from A-DATA, PC4000 BallistiX or BallistiX PC3200. If it overclocks allright, I'll purchase either the PC4500 from A-DATA, or the PC4000 BallistiX, otherwise I'll stick to the PC3200. So, what should I do ? :) Btw, the new mainboard will probably be DFI Lanpart UT.
Best wishes,
Piddan
Hi!
Which TCCD Sticks can handle a Vdimm @ ~ 3,3V? And do they go then
up 280 MHz anyway?
@meke
Have the same mod as u, maybe u can tell me something about it! :)
rar finally got my PDP xbl pc3200 in computer after being out all day. reached 290 @ 2.5-3-3-7 1T @ 2.75v (didnt try higher)
brought it back down to 10x263 @ 2.5-3-3-7 1T @ 2.65v for best memory bandwidth
pimp what system ?
nice score !!!
had some patriot pc3200+XBLK arrive this morning :slobber:
it will be going in my NF7 for now, but was reaaly bought for a soon to own A64 set-up.
haven't/aren't taking h/s off, but it goes have brain power 815 PCB's
****QUESTION*****
i won't need to mod the ram volts on the NF7, as TCCD doesn't need much, but will i need to mod the volts to the northbridge, to handle hopefully 250+ fsb??
if so can some kind person supply a link ?

I'll update this post when I get time, currently I am snowed under :(

most places touched around DDR600..
