Joined yesterday with my XP1700 @ 1.6GHz (12x133) 256Mb RAM, etc.
Hopefully I will soon be getting 8 466MHz celerons, dunno wether to get dual motherboards or single CPU boards :)
Welcome to the team. You'll be hooked soon (if not already) and will get more and more comps. As for the motherboards, it would probably be cheaper (electric) to have dual motherboards, though may cost a lot to get.
Anarki - welcome to the team
and dang id give roughly £17 to be that puppy :D
I'll give him £20. The plane ticket may cost me thoughQuote:

It should do good :D.
Nice bro :toast: Can you still do things while d2ol is running? I need to atleast find me a refurb IC7-G or P4C to get my 2.8A@4.2Ghz right now it's on an intel m/b and I could do a damn thing bout it but let it crunch at stock speed. :DQuote:

Bf2 kicks me back to desktop while crunching :( That's why I ask him if it works on his. But with CS:S I could go on for hours and all the other games :D :toast:Quote:

Don't got BF2, but I can get the demo :).
Give it a shot bro! :toast: Mine would ctd in an instant while crunching :slapass:Quote:

Yup, the dothan celeron can crunch, it's a few milliseconds slower in pi compared to the regular dothan...Why don't you just grab a P4P800-SE and an adaptor so you can clock it!! :D
I just have a 4400+ X2 at 2.7GHz. Running two clients and looking for more computers to help out.
*just* .... lol.. wanna trade? :slap:Quote:

And I did manage to join the team....waiting for the sig to update.
And since I've started my load temp has gone down 6C...it was 49-50 and now it's 43-44, same ambient, same load, etc.
You are advicing the impossible. If I had the money, I would. But I haven't :DQuote:

Celeron Mobile 1.4Ghz
That will be, let's say, 300 cands a day :D
Wow, my two computers were on all day and they havn't done too bad! Look @ my siggy thingy. It may not have been updated but..
Thanks for the link bro :toast: I just did 1K cands in 5 days :D Nice in about a month I will an estimate 4K-5K...Not bad eh!!! :toast:Quote:

My machines are used way too much to pump out a lot of unit's. :(
my rings update :
asus 955x with 820d @ 3.3g
dfi nforce 4 sli and fx57 @ 3.4g
asus a8n-e and win 3000+ @ 2.25G
i will get soon a X2 cpu for my asus an8-e rig :toast:
see sig, 3800 X2 @ 2.6Ghz running 2 instances of D2OL.
Amd64 Fx-55.
Update of my farm. 1 rig has been replaced, one has been taken off line 1 has joined the pack.
Instead of the Barton AXP at 2300MHZ effective I now have a Dual Xeon At 2Ghz (PSU is to weak to clock higher) C1 stepping cores from Mr Slinkey and a PC DL Deluxe from CJC 75(both are GREAT sellers btw :) )
THe P3 500MHZ has been terminated from crunching due to just not being worth the power it consumes. It did 20 cands a day and used a lot more power then it was worth.
Added:
A 2.0Ghz Pentium M 760 Sonoma :) (laptop)
so no OC'ng of the little fella but it still produces a nice ammount none the less (just wish I could get ram timings tighter)
Thats about it on my part. It aint much but I'm still able to put out a nice portion of the Saluads Team :)
Yet another rig!!
667MHz Celeron!!!
So I'm up to 2 rig's, three soon.
933MHz PIII EB
667MHz Celeron (Both coppermine)
and soon, my Venice 3200+..just need my Video card to arrive :p.
My rig in sig!
X2 3800+ @ 2.85 Ghz running dual instances. Basically dual venices at 2.85 Ghz! I'm at college so sorry, i only got one computer to contribute!
Aight, I got the following...
PIII 933MHz EB, 256MB PC133, Windows XP Pro SP2 (On during day time)
PIII 900MHz E, 192MB PC133, Windows 2000 Pro SP4 (24/7 D2OL Only)
A64 3200+ @ 2.6GHz, 1GB PC3200, Windows XP Pro SP2 (On during day time, my personal rig--see sig.)
:D
How many cands a day are these X2's pumping out?
anywhere between 200 - 350 depending on how OC'ed they are.
Thx for the speedy reply.Quote:

They fair pretty well against DX rigs, but for the money DX are more effective. If you have to use the rig for gaming, i think X2 is the better choice.
