I had same question a few months back. There is no bios mod until now. Only way to bench those cards is like this:

hi for 68gt throttles, boot up with warm gpus, go into windows, don't open any nvidia apps, open rivatuner, turn on cooler, let gpus go down to temps and click o/c speed. close and run 3d app. if there's throttlin, reboot. when u enter windows, there will be 2 scenarios, 1 the windows slow down = throttle. so u need to reboot and there will be one boot thats throttlefree.
2 throttle free. then you just oc the speed and close any nvidia or rivatuner apps. run 3d w/o throttle it will stay until u reboot.

Hi guys, I just got a 6800gt Evga pci-e , someone want to send me a modded bios for volt options? core will go under water, ram will be sinked, runs oc'd with coolbits forceware right now 401/1.09 (sucks I know). so... trying to get more out of it. I don't know what good volts for the gpu/ram is.. so... mod away, I have no idea how to do it, I'd like to learn sooner or later, just too busy right now and don't wanna f it up. is 600/1300 too much to ask? hehe. thanks in advance.

Only voltage adjustment for the core is possible with a biosmod. It's 1.3v stock and 1.4v or 1.5v can be selected by a biosmod. 1.4v is 100% safe for 24/7 use, 1.5v is quite safe too if the card has some airflow over the voltage regulators and mofsets.

600mhz core is in no way possible. If the cooling is decent maybe 440mhz at 1.4v and 460mhz at 1.5v, but this really depends per GPU and how good your cooling is.

So what bios would you like, 1.4v or 1.5v, and what clocks?

The max you can bios mod volts is 1.55v, even if you set to 1.6v it will be 1.55v with a multimeter in 3D mode, you want that high a core, I doubt you will reach thats on your card but you can do real hardware volts mod, google it, it should come up with VRZONE website, I wont link to it from here anyhow.

BTW , all above is for agp cards, I assume its same for pci-e.

Here are the two bioses (1.5 & 1.4) I left the clocks at 400/500 if thats alright with you.

hi guys i hear this is the place to find info on 6800's

iv got a XFX 6800 GT AGP all stock, but water cooled. iv read here that you guys mod bios's. now im a noob at GFX modding but keen to learn. could anyone build me a bios or show me how.

i need the Vcore and Vmem increased slightly. i can get 425/1050 out of my card but id like to have a top limit of 500/1200. can you guys help me?
