Actually all the bios's.
I was reading over at amdforums and someone there was talking about higher membandwidth before installing driver nforce drivers. I went into device manager and rolled back all the nvidia memory controllers except for the one that says nforce2 ultra 400 to the standard windows driver. Gave me a 25mb boost in sandra. See if that helps you at all.
why would i want too? that'd just affect the rest of the system in a negative way, since it does 3dmark also...Quote:

that's alright, i dont care too much about the "lost mb's", but i just want to figure out how to get past this 249/250fsb wall.
hehehe.... :toast:Quote:

Any possibility of a 3DFire or 3Dextreme bios for the 8rda+? :)
That modded 4212 bios works well, btw.

Im hot flashing to fix my board off then ill try the latest beta bios.
Heres the D22-alpha beta king with multiplier fix
http://home.comcast.net/~shrmytoon/d22a1bk-4227.zip
awesome work tictac!:toast: Is there any chance you could mod the fixed multi bios with those finer vcore adjustments with like 1.975v instead of the jump from 1.95-2.00, and 2.025 and 2.05 too? Thanks man!
Thanks tictac & Shroom:thumbsup:
Im using the D22-alpha beta king, Its nice to have the 10.5x.
Heres a few tests i ran with the new bios.:D
How about a comparison between the D22 alpha and the D22 alpha beta king? Mem bandwidth.
Tested beta king. Better bandwidth but try it with game accelerator, memory cleanup and it gives a little more performance on top.:slobber:
ya i have a turbo edition for D22 alpha1 betaking
with new overclockers bios layout
and vcore revised 0.025v increasement
will realease it soon enough
cheers:toast:

Ami Bios tool is called AMIBCP
you can get it form:
http://www.stormpages.com/crazyape/amibcp.html
ps: what kt266a bios are you trying to mod?
Heres a new mirror to Tictacs newest bios's, also updated front page

tictac, is there anyway you could mod a bios for the nf7 so that we can turn CPC(command per clock) off? I've heard that on the dfi boards, turning that off lets some users with double sided mem get a lot higher on the fsb. :toast:
Can someone tell me which BIOS is best for a NF7 non-S?
Thanks
You'll just have to find out what works best with you board, some boards prefer the D10's some the the D22. i've flashed almost every bios tictac made. they'er all safe. My board prefered D14 & later but wouldnt run on D10's. good luck.;)
Oh... I don't even know where to start since there are so many. Is there a popular one many people like?Quote:

Just download the flash utility save your old bios and start flashing. Start with the D10, if it isnt stable you know to start at D14 and later. First see how high you can push the fsb with the bios that came with the board. document your progress with each bios you try. then go back to the one that worked best. dont forget to shut down after you flash then reset the cmos before restarting. good luck.
Tic tac if you can unlock the multipleirs on the locked Barton 2500+ (i have a 0350) a would love you to the res of my life. Before i was runnig my 1700+ at 8.5x 228, now i got a locked 2500+ barton and im running 11x 200 and the bandwidth is very low becuase my cpu isnt cable of 11x 230.
Some of the Favorites are the d10beta2 or beta4, and the d22A1betaking or turbo.
not possible with bios. You need to cut a certain bridge to change it into a mobile, i believe.Quote:

can anyone tell me about the bios's temp readings? which is most accurate for most people?
I'd like to flash to a modded 22, but I'd sure want to know when my temps go too high, thanks :stick:
i think the d18-22 are the most accurate. 10 is way too high and the 14 was a little too low.
Thanks for the links Shroomy, been awhile bro.
Good work rounding these up, testing and handing them out
( as usual).
Much appreciated man.

No problem, I know how hard it is to find things some times. Tictac did all the work, I just cut and paste, and do a little beta testing.
Some of the Favorites are the d10beta2 or beta4, and the d22A1betaking or turbo. So with these bioses the multi is unlocked?
You CANNOT unlock a factory locked CPU (most desktop week 39~ or later CPUs). No different bios or mobo can help.
Your only "last resort" is to make it a mobile by connecting sum bridges (or sumthing like that) but afaik that didn't prove to be too effective.
Hm I know that Tic Tac can do that. He`s an expert. So tell me why on the epox 8rda the multi didnt go above 12.5x on abit it goes to 22x??
Now that, depends on the bios!
I should have said Thanx to you and the friends of yours that came up with these bioses.......Quote:

I don't want to leave anyone out, you were the front man, so I thanked you.
Tell TicTac we are very appreciative of his efforts, and again my thanks go to you for handing them to the fine folks here at Xtreme.

Its cause your higher multies are locked, One of my nf7's do the same thing. My 2100 only has multies 13 and up while my 2500 only have 12.5 and lower. There is a wire mod you can do to get higher multies. Its just the board. My other NF7 unlocks all the multies on both cpu's.Quote:

There are some newer bios's now, Trats modded the new D24's Tictac style. Check em out.
i am using a "D23 sub zero" bois and i'am running 230 x 12 ( 2-2-2-11 ) 100% stabel...but 13 x 230 woud be nice... :D my cpu max out at 3132 MHz
I need a bios for high cpu clock. Doesn't matter if FSB is high or low.
What bios has the slowest cpu parameters?
I am currently using an Abit NF7-S v2.0 with a 2500+ mobile w/ peltier/maze4 - i Got some corsair winbond BH-5 Comin in this week....what bios should i start off testing with. I dont want to ruin the bios and dub it not bootable, but id also like to get it as fast as i can... Thanks!
Also...Do one of these bioses make it so that you can change more than just 4 settings on the ram timings? IE. Like the 64 board asus makes, A8V.
I really like the Mantaray XT CPC On, best result with it! 260 1:1 Benchstable! :)
Edit: Imho it is based on D26.
Agreed. Get D26 MantaRays XT 1t BIOS from...
http://www.tictac.katrourke.com/modu...download&cid=1
However, there are no NF7 bioses that allow more than just the basic RAM timings adjustment. I've seen a windows based NForce2 Tweaker (google for it) that will let you adjust about 50 billion other settings but I've never tried it.
