looks nice! Sparkly
Shiny! Looks great! :D
Love this case :D
very nice clean looking setup. Now just sleeve the 24pin ;-)
I'm trying to figure out an easy way to mount the rad grill->fans->rad (from the top). I might have to cup screws with a dremel, because so far, haven't found any that will do the job. Included screws with the MCP320 are too short.

^^Very nice rig
What size Rad Grill will fit best on the top of the case? 120 mm x 3 or 140 x3?
Mr_Mustang01gt: be careful with 140x3 rads on top of case. Few of them are rather wide and need additional cuts of 5.25 bay enclosure sidewalls to fit width-wise (eg. you can check 800D hardware canucks mod with HWLabs 3x140 GTX rad). 120x3 (no mods or grill needed) or 120x4 rads are better choice for 800D imho.
I should clarify,
I am looking to see which of these would fit cleaner on the outside of the top of the case.
360 Rad Grill
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=28823
480 Rad Grill
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=28769
I wouldn't buy 360 rad grill at all, as 800D already has 3x120 mounting holes/grill pre-cut in. As for what and how looks .. tastes differ a lot from person to person. There is nothing to suggest that will fit for everybody tastes.
I just prefer to have a flush or slightly raised top vs. a recessed one.

Right, especially when it is illuminated LED connected in aquaero multicolor.
I can control the brightness of the backlight in any way or completely disable them at any time.

I will be adding another 580 GTX and a 2nd SSD drive later on in the year.
elder can you please tell me where you got that resevoir?
awesome work Gareth !! :D
Is that feser one or primochill ?
Gareth: i'd move D5 pump farther in the back, so that it's outlet would be position just below lowest GPU full cover and would remove those two 90deg sharp bends. (If pump engine is too long and will hit back of case, then also turn it partially in vertical axis, though maybe no need for that, as probably GPU's inlet-outlet can be switched inbetween gaining few more distance).
Looks to be a LUND-reservoir if I'm not mistaken. ;)

Sorry for the Camera Phone pics, I was able to mount the SSD in my case. I like the case so far, it's really big, water is going back in ETA 1 day. Is there a way to make the fans a bit more silent? They are louder then my S Flex E's on my rad.
Hi
have just purchase a 700d from ebay
has any fitted a thermocill rad PA120.3 3 fan with the 25mm spacing and not the new/standard 15mm
fitting the PA120.2 2 fan in bottom chamber. is it better vertical or hozintonal
Cheers
mark
I got my DD Delrin Bay Res as well
I was stupid enough to order the wrong size fittings 1/4 when I needed 1/2 I had to go to the hardware store and get copper brabs, but you can't see them anyways.
The install was super easy, I would of put a picture about taking apart a stock Res to fit into the DD, I should of took more pics. Anyways here are some shots of the 24 hour leak test :) none btw

Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
Yes, I have already sent the info.
Here are some pics of the preparations for the assembly RX480.
I'll give it to the back of the 800D and the top mount the RX360.
This set should be sufficient for the planned SLI GTX480 and i7 920 @ 4.2 GHz.

Elder, I really like the mesh!!! When you had the Feser blue UV what UV Lights did you have and where did you have them located? Did you have any other lights in the case?
Great great cases everyone, I've got a ton of great idea now!
I posted this over in the Liquid Cooling forums, but I wanted to share them here as well :)
Sorry for the lower quality pictures, I had to take them with my phone until I get my media card reader reinstalled.
This is my first Liquid Cooling setup, I'd have to say I have been bitten by the "bug." I'm already planning upgrades and such :D

Elder, that is GODLY GORGEOUS

Heres a couple of photos of my 700D
just got it running & still a lot of work to do
won case on ebay for £85 so not bad
had to fit thermochill PA120.3 in roof which was a pain due to the 25mm spacing
Thinking about changing to sandybridge 2500k but not sure it will worth it
To Ketel One
They are 6-32 hex bolt screws. I got them at ACE Hardware for about .20 each. They are cheap and the look great!. I also used nylon washers to make sure the screws did not touch the fins on my radiator.
My 800D best 100 bucks I ever spent :)

Hey i see a lot of you are use a water cooling solution with this case. For those using a hsf do you find this case has bad air flow? Looking at some comments on corsairs forum i have hear this mentioned a couple of times. If you do think the airflow is bad do you think putting a fan on the side of the case would help a lot?
heres mine. im about to add a second loop for the videocards and im watercooling my soundcard :)

ELDER: how is the mesh being held up? the PSU bay looks like it has some sort of clip, but what about on the side and back of the 5.25" bays?
Milky1: did you follow a guide on how to ghost your dvd drive or did you just wing it? I'm interested in ghosting mine but need some tips on how to do it
I got the bolts and the washers, but I also got some rubber washers to put between the fans and radiator and the radiator and the top of the case. Did you have any problems putting yours in because I had to make a couple of the mounting holes in my case a little wider on one side to make the holes line up.
I think it turned out good though :)
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...g/IMG_0092.jpg
KetelOne:
The holes lined up with no issue with my rad. Because I have a triple rad I had to move it around slightly to get each hex screw to line up but they all went in without issue.
Looks great bro!
CK
Sry, have a silly question, but.. am i right ? that the hotswap works only for, like secondary disc's ? not for my main hdd.
Cause i had to mount the main hdd to lower side of the case and connect directly to the motherboard!
Thats a crazy VORTEX going on in there! Isnt that LOUD? I know that when I refill my loop, in the process of bleeding the bubbles, I can hear the bubbles pass through the tubes and its loud. I dont have a single bubble in my reservoir either after the bleeding is over in like 24hrs of running the system, seams like you got a lot of air in your loop.
Just an updated picture of my gaming den.

Gareth only XSPC RX360 for GTX580 SLI end I7 950?
Not too hot?
I ask because I use the RX480 in a similar configuration.
And it's hot,very hot..after 1h testing BarsWF...

not at the moment, if anything it's actually the same if not lower as the cards aren't working as hard. I am aware that I may struggle through the summer months, at the moment it's a wait and see, but if it turns out I need more cooling then it's not a problem and more will be added.
would like to inquire
is it possible to put a Feser 360 + 6xNoiseBlockers Mp12 Push Pull config at the top??
These might be of interest for 800D (and front panel for 700D too) owners - Corsair released upgrade kits for them such as USB3 front panel kit and SATA6Gbps hotswap disk connector plate.
no answer?? is it possible to put a feser 360 with a push pull config on it at the top of 800D??
cstkl1: probably yes. I've seen several builds with thick rads in push-pull on top of 800D.
Anyone getting a strange cracking sound from the side panel when it is mounted? I get it and it is driving me crazy...
Gareth and Elder
ure both just doing a push config right
hmm just the thing that i was worried about
a Push and pull config can handle those heat easier .
that means require a top mod with the koolance shroud.
yes just push, I'm dubious that push & pull would make much of a difference to be honest
Gareth: yup, only some 25% for slow fan speeds (less for powerful extreme fans). But there are always people wishing to squeeze every single of cooling performance out from LC gear they have and in many cases adding more fans is simple/cheap enough thing to do relative to rest of modding needed to fit biger rads and alike ..
my system is quite comfortable at the moment, temperatures in the UK are fairly low though and I may struggle in the summer, but if I do i'll address the issue then.
Yep...strange sound from the side panel when it is mounted.
In my 800D also hear it.
The panel acts as a membrane, enhances the vibration generated by the pump.
cstkl1 use push-pull for slow fan speeds.
Capacity will increase slightly but do not expect too much.
I was not enough so I chose a very effective solution.
I plan to add Black Ice SR1 560.
Work in progress...

Yes it does with 6FM123. prob is a lot of ppl dont clock high enough on to the edge clocking. Half of their mobo's are used for decorative purpose
ok so can a 800D fit a RX360 Push Pull config of a 25thickness fan?
nobody has given me a definitive answer on this
cause it looks like a no no. or relative quite close to the mobo
cstkl1 look at this.

Added a Lamptron FC5v2 fan controller and 2 syringes of Primochill Dye Bomb Blood Red and some more LEDs and a Red Thermaltake Exhaust fan. And yes, I know it looks tacky with different types and brands of fans but eventually I will switch to ALL one type/brand. Thinking on Enermax Vegas Red or Magmas. Cant decide if I want LED's on them or just deep red fins with no LED's on them.

Hugo: Superb two colored lighting split with GPU.
@cstkl1: My build has a 360 radiator in the top with a push/pull fan configuration. Not sure if the rad and fans I use is thicker or thinner than the one that you are proposing to use, but mine barely fit, so if yours is bigger, you might run into issues.
@Gareth: Very nice build! Yours is how I want mine to be. Guess I need to get back to work on fixing the sleeving and modifying the build to suit my tastes.
