I have mountaincable (local ISP) 5mbit. Its 5000/360. Not bad...
i just upgraded to 5mb! cant wait.. oh well, i gess it wont be much different as dl's will only go as quick as the server can upload... still 5mb! and yet 3 years ago i had 26k...
my lame 512/128 isnt even enough for surfing damnit

I Citiro 100Mbps
Now thats what im talkin about :D
Wow, that's the only one that beats mine I think....whoa.
I still haven't found my max upload yet. I know it's 2mb/s per connection, but I've had numerous occasions where I've seen Azureus sustain over 45mb/s up.
Cant really do mine so you will just have to take my word for it. Because i am running 3 wifi leeches 2X 8 meg down stream and 1 X 2 meg up which i cobble together using a proggie i got from work i have approx 15 meg downstream approx due to the overhead of bringing it all togeher and the 2 meg link is used for upstream traffic only...
The best bit about this is i aint paying for it all :)
1891/ 223, AOl ;)
It's the fastest I'net possible for my area and i can't describe how jealous i am of you people with 100mbs :(
1152k down, 270k up - Zen Internet, very reliable & works fine for playing games and uploading WU's. Thats all I need rly, but I want 100Mbs anyway!! Actually I was offered a free upgrade to 8mb recently, if I accept a 20Gb/Month d/l limit, might go for that if my crappy old BT line can take it.
I have 2mb/300kbps Cable without download limit.
http://www.aster.pl/newsite/img/ast_img/aster_logo.gif
I've 1.5mbps (10-2) 3mbps (2-10)/down 384kbps/up
cable of course without download limit
I have ADSL 1Mb/512Kb, the most extended here at Spain. I pay 39€/month for it + 6€ for static IP. So that would be about 54$ for a 1Mb/512Kb connection
There is ADSL2+ at 20Mb/2Mb for less price (not so less) but it's still only on big cities.
PD: No download limit as everywhere here.
I didn't write = I pay for my connection ~45$ ;)
Im running 3/768kbit from verizon dsl
got 12Mbit down/ 1 Mbit up ADSL. paying 80 euro a month
I'll hope the glassfibre network come's to my town fast. They offer 25/25 for 50 euro a month (and even 100/100 for 100 euro)
a Dutch cable provider named @Home (my email adresses look nice).
am paying 47.95 orso (i pay 20 my dad pays the rest so nice deal)
speed they advertise with:
Download: 5000 kbit/s
Upload: 750 kbit/s (capped)
speeds i actualy reach:
the upload the offer sucks cause all the DSL providers offer 1.5 or 2 Megabit upload a sec for the same cash but i cant get any of them here.
But i stil reach a continues 89Kilobyte/sec upload.
Download depends if i manage to download from a university server orso wich has a unused connection i can easy get 1500 Kilobyte a sec, from the usual capped servers or speedtest sites i reach the speed they are caping me at usual downloads threw fileplanet etc are some 600KB a sec so nice.
no download limit.
:banana::banana::banana::banana:ty dorm internet:
dslreports.com speed test result on 2006-04-24 22:42:49 EST:
556 / 103
Your download speed : 556 kbps or 69.6 KB/sec.
Your upload speed : 103 kbps or 12.9 KB/sec.
this is at a minimal traffic time
25 mbps downstream
8 mbps upstream
new test in may 100/100 :D
6mbit down/512kb up
HTP a local provider in hannover. sometimes stability problems, but I think it is my sucking t-com 154 DSL Basic SE router grrrr
i had used the 56k before, it's very slow. Now i changed to ADSL connection.
In Denmark, the fastest connection you can get right now is 25/25 mbit, but in few years, it is planned to give us citizens 1000/1000 mbit for a small prize:D
Personaly I got 1024/512 kbit :S
Home:
6 Mbps cable (although I have managed to sustain 750 kB/s download) and 300 kbps upstream. Crappy upload, but crazy fast download.
Work1:
T1 with a redudant DSL.
Work2:
Possibly T2 or T3. Don't know for sure.
I have only 33.6K dial up...but pay for it only 20$... (for ukraine it`s very nice) Download: 3.36kb Upload: unknow... :(
ISDN 64K here... ADSL not available.
10Mbps here, Not sure if thats past T1 :stick:
t1 is 1mb i think.
edit: not sure, but id love to get sandra!! (3G/bit connection *drool*)

15Mpbs down / 5 Mbps up on Verizon FIOS. Can't wait till I get my FIOS HDTV.
They are also implementing a 20Mbps down/ 10 Mbps up tier that I'll be moving to as soon as it's available.
my DSL company offers standard and accelerated DSL the better one is about 30% faster.
lets see some screen shots
15 down 5 up sounds great but lets see what happens once you test it.
Mine is only 10 down and 1 up and it does 13 down and 1 up
i've got cable-connection with 256kbps down and 128kbps upload + a crappy 15GB Traffic-Limit :(
before that i had a 56K Connection :D
That's me pretty much maxxing out my download speed downloading from ATI.
15MB is nice and all but what's really impressive is the awesome upload speed of 5Mbps... Makes it easy to host high quality FTP and websites. Not bad for $45.00 a month.

I've got 3200/512kbit here in holland :) DSL :) 34,95€ per month :D
you don't have satellite in that list :stick:
I'm on direcway dish, sometimes fast, sometimes not. Uploads always suck, around 7KB/sec max. It was a good day today and I downloaded some drivers earlier today at an average of 175KB/sec. Get bad weather tho and bye bye speed or even the connection sometimes.

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
try that link
::: example :::
Videotron extreme 850kb/s down and 100kb/s up ;P
Verizon DSL 696kbps download, 119kbps upload
Bog standard 2mb DSL although speeds seem to randomly vary loads from much slower to much quicker.
Just like hausner, videotron extreme, btw its 10mbits down 900 up so thats 1250kB/s down and 112.5kB/s up even tho its hard getting more than 100, I often get 1000kB/s down downloading on private trackers =)Quote:

As you all (should) know. Here in Sweden we are well ahead of the rest of the world in terms of highspeed broadband. I live in a little city with 14,000 people. Max here is 24mbit/1mbit. I don't want to sound :banana::banana::banana:y, i just stick to the facts. I ran a speedtest and i've got 23,2mbit down, and 1,04mbit up. If your planning on study abroad. Try Lunds University here in southern sweden. All students get 1000mbit/s both up and down for free.. Each!
I have 12mb down / 1mb up , Ok for me
WOW !!!!!!!!!!!
what kinda of connection???
***edit***
I see cable very nice :D
In Portugal from the next year we go to have VDSL2 100 Mbits:). Now we are in a ticket for adsl2+ 24 Megas/512 KBps and 8 Megas/512 kbps:).
They just upgraded my lines in my apartment and my connection to 100MB. Whats a good program to measure download and upload speeds??
I like http://www.speedtest.net and http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest.Quote:

There are so many providers, we can't even guess.

15mb 2mb up, im waiting for the 30mb down 5mb up that cox is upgrading to before the end of the year
I dont really need all that speed. I usually get the cheapest dsl package 1.5-3mb @ $15/month.
2 Mb Down - 400K Up ;)
Not bad for now :)
about 8-9 mbit down, and about 400 kbit up
I have cable. My only other choice is dial up. :(
 40E 125 kbit down
GPRS 5kbit up
--suxx! there is nothing except dial-up
Technically it's multiple OC3 (and an intranet oc12) connections but bandwidth is divided among residential subnets and given low priority. I usually get around 500-600Kb/s download speed and ping in the single digits on most west-coast CSS servers.
I haven't pushed the upload too far as to keep a low profile, but I know I can easily get 80Kb+
Edit:
