Great job Eddy ! That block makes me wanna buy Classified mobo ^^
Any word on when these should hit retailers in the States?
Does the block have standoffs? If not can someone show how it is mounting to the board?

Finally is this jewel here ...
Need a list of US Retailers.
[Roger Rabbit] P-p-p-p-please Eddy ![/Roger Rabbit] ;)
Sidewinder should have them in stock soon
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ekevx58clacn.html
I saw that one, and Tilatech, but I like competition, so I was hoping for a complete list ;)
Eddy i noticed under your new warrenty conditions this new clause:
The guarantee is not valid if there are used aggressive UV additives. <--- can u define this? as in give us specific items.
It has been always there.
Aggressive UV additives could damage sealing o-rings and also crack acrylic tops.
But I can tell you we haven't refused any of the very minimal RMA because of that. :)
Eddy, do you know when NCIX is expected to get your first shipment of these blocks? Because of their price and the conversion rate it makes a lot more sense for me to just buy it locally then order from your guys directly and since they are authorized to distribute your stuff I'd assume they'll have a reasonable stock on hand. Also, do you know if they will be getting the nickle plated Acetal version?
I've got a gigabyte X58 board and was looking at the EK full board kit - sadly though it is in several pieces and needs to get water lines run all over the place (unlike this gorgeous EVGA block!). Those fittings all open their own headaches and hassles, not to mention using compression fittings means quite a bit of extra $$ on the build.
In theory, a pair of bridges that would link the 3 blocks together could be designed *or* the three could be made into a larger block. Might there be any way to get some support behind a design or prototype? Color me interested in getting something similar to this EVGA block!
FOR US CUSTOMERS!
this block is going to be available TODAY in an hour @ frozencpu.com
i spoke with them, they said it's going to be up in an hour and if you order today
they will ship tomm!
sidewinder and tilatech is lagging on this... luckily i called frozen.
It's just a shame FrozenCPU is charging $163 for it... that is over $20 more expensive than Sidewinder.
Hmm lagging?

Been in stock for a while.
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=...7&mpage=6&key=
4th post down shows that they have been already shipping them out. Think your mixed up a bit
My Acetal block was shipped out today along with an enzotech luna. Thus they beat frozencpu + a lower cost + a free drink lols :ROTF:  I hope Bawls sugar free is good
I was talking bout the ACETAL/NICKEL VERSION
tila tech emailed me 30 mins ago that the acetal is in stock now.
but they have not had anything since monday.
sidewinder will have it in stock on thursday,
trust me i did my homework.
Tilatech shipped my Alcatel/Nickel Version yesterday. It had been in a "4-7" day till shipping status since last Friday.
But it's on the way now, for delivery by FRIDAY! :D
When's PPCs gonna get it? I'd rather go through them--they've never done me wrong.
Available at SideWinders now.

Woot thanks, just ordered. Have a Swiftec mcr320 laying around and a spare pump.. lol should be enough to run this block.
Hello. First post here on this forum.
I ordered block from EK and it shipped on 6/15/2009 and it arrived at my office in Suwanee, GA on 06/22
/2009. I will install it soon. Good service and shipping was cheap too.
Can you get an acrylic + nickel plated one? :)
Like the one on the last page?
http://i41.tinypic.com/sy2dll.jpg
rofl sorry i guess my internet was being stupid, it didn't show me that pic.
In other news - THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!
This is great! Got mine from Tilatech ... Plexi one.
PPCs has em in stock!

sorry to ask about this, but is it safe to buy this block on AT ?
nyeah, just order from EK directly. That would be your best bet.
I just ordered one from Gary, can't wait to mount this on my E761 classified a.s.a.p
Got mine in on Friday from Sidewinder Computers. It was a pain to install the plastic standoffs, but the end result is well worth it.

Now all I need is my i7 920 from the Intel Retail Edge program, and I can finish my new build. They are saying 2-3 weeks before it ships :-(

This block looks amazing installed on the Classified. Does anyone think we will see different color acrylic bridges from EK? I would love to purchase a Blue bridge to match the Blue cooling loop I have planned.
armageddon, was ur mobo a 760 or 759? or does anyone know if this def works on the 760??? please thanx heart
It looks really good, better then i thought !
i wonder if they can put a attachment for evga x58 sli blocks to make it a single block

hey guys any update on the compatibility with the 760? does the heatsink mount of teh nf200 get in he way of anthing on the 760 or touch anyhting or get in the way?? let me know guys coz i desperately wna to mount one of these on teh 760!!! lols, ta
It fits the 760 fine, maybe not teh 760 though. :yepp:
I have read on some other forums that it is a better idea to install this block without the standoffs, even though the instructions say to use them.
Is there any real advantage to not using the standoffs, aside from an easier install process (they were a pain in the @$$ to line up and install)? Thanks.
Can't you line them up on the block then use a drop of super glue to hold them in place until you can tighten the screws?
I was just wondering if there'd be a similar full-board solution for the SLI LE...?
Just got my EK block installed this weekend. Its my first ever watercooled build, so be gentle!
The pics looks terrible with MS Paint resizing... oops.

You did almost exactly the same as i was planning on doing this summer.
The only diffrence is that i am going to use a external res and an mcr320 rad and also cool the gpu.
But could you tell me what the distance is between the back of the case and where the rad attaches to the rad support from koolance when its fully extended?
Folks, is it ok to have this small hole in the block? I have not yet run water into it so I dunno if there would be a leak. It looks like its from the screw hole. This is my first water cooling build so am just taking extra precaution. TIA...

@JoeChou: Thanks man. Just being sure... :up:Quote:
That mounting screw is outside the water area ... you are safe!
Looks pretty sick!
So what happened to NCIX distributing this block? For the first 3 weeks it was "Not Available" and now it is not even listed any more on their site. Sidewinder also has none in stock for a while now.
Sidewinder has had them in-stock twice since their release, they just sell out the same day they get them in. It is all a matter of diligence :)
From what I see, NCIX is still selling it... just not NCIX-US. They must have shipped them all to Canada ;)
Looks like the Koolance Radiator Mounting Bracket with Quick-Release.
In stock @ sidewinder :D
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ekevx58clacn.html
I just ordered the X58 classified cooler as well as the coolance radiator mount. bye bye moneys!
Anyone have any pictures with LED's installed?
Nice! Are those the LED's from the original heatsink?
@tin tin : what are the spek of the led? , voltages , size?.
Finally got my block incoming via DHL from Sidewinder...been waiting for it for almost a month lol :p: Time to rip everything apart and put it back together :D
Thanks for Gary@Sidewinder - fast shipping to canada :O also for Eddy@EK waterblocks to listen to our advice and making this waterblock that i want to be (red plexi with Classified name also EK and X58 place), btw. that why i bought this mobo for waterblock! I mine opinion is much better that BP fullcover ! :p:
From dream design to reality!

Great job again Eddy!
I agree
This time, EK won :D
Dead sexy, i love it!
Now all we need is one that covers the CPU as well, or a custom bridge that connects it to an EK Supreme ;)
That would be awesome, full cover block featuring MB block + mosfet block + cpu block <wow>

My review of this block is (finally) close to being finished. Stay tuned. :)
these come pretty clean? or should I open it up and inspect
Where did you get the acrylic one? Mine is the acetal w/ red piece, but I have it all acetal at the moment.
These blocks are pure sex.
thanks boyu - oh well i think i like it in black best
I was just wondering if the acrylic version is still being produced or if it was discontinued. I notice on all the retailer websites that they are out of this model.
Thanks!
its been cancelled due to cracking problems. guess machining of so long pcs of acrylic makes lots of inner tensions
Is that just the transparent version?
Wow! . . . Ok. Thanks for the info. At least I can go ahead and pick up one of the acetal versions instead of continuing to hunt for the acrylic.
What a shame. The clear acrylic looked really cool. From what I can tell, it looks like you can see the fluid flowing through it, so you could probably change the whole look of it just by putting different color water additive - even making it look UV reactive. But that's ok. Looks are a minor concern compared to performance. . . .
Speaking of, have there been any reports of leaking from the bridge part of the block? I assume there are some sort of rubber grommets there that seal it? . . . That would be a really bad place to have a leak since it would be essentially right above the video card.
I love the look of this block! How restrictive is it?
Hi Eddy,
You mean white acetal top, with the red acrylic for the bridge? I think I prefer the black top with the red bridge, (dead sexy). I really appreciate your offer though. I just had my heart set on the clear acrylic top with red bridge on the plated base, (hard core pr0n). :) But hey, if there are cracking issues with the clear acrylic, I understand.
Damn the acrylic one looks sexy , to bad its out : ( , would be nice if it comes out again or at least by paying a bit extra .
White acetal with clear acrylic xD .
Are you using the included thermal pads or your own TIM?
