What size are those hammond boxes?
What height, width and length?
And by the way, excellent build! True perfection.

Just read through the whole thread....wow. Zeus the quality of your workmanship and your attention to detail is really something to behold. Absolutely fantastic build.
I'm starting to plan a TJ07 build, and your thread has many great ideas, and is really inspirational.
Thanks CryptiK. :)
I tried to take apicture of the 2x 5770 crossfired as i'm running now but due to the low light level the pic did not come out too well.

Looks great, really nice. Love the metal connector. Ever had any issues with compression fittings leaking?
I may have missed it, but did you sleeve all your rad fans separately and wire each one individually to multiple fan controller/mobo headers, or did you solder the fans together and run them off one header?
I sleeved all the fan wires seperately, well 3 together in a sleeve actually and hooked them up to my 6 channel fancontroller.
The build has undergone some changes since, the Yates you see in the pics have been swapped for Scythe Gentle Typhoons for some more cooilng power and also the videocards have been changed again among some other changes.
I think it's time for some new pics but i'm playing with the thought of turning it into a black-red build. :)
Ok, time for a serious rebuild. :)
The build was ok back then but now a year and a half later the bar has been raised quite a bit higher and a good looking build back from then is nothing more than a mediocre build right now.
So, what's the plan? Black and red. :)
I've decided to stick with AMD since the Crosshair IV Formula suits very well in the color scheme.
Got loads of new stuff, i have some pics to show but please excuse the picture quality, i haven't been able to make some proper ones so for now these will have to do. ;)
Some of the new parts:

... that took quite some modding to fit.

The blue leds have been replace with red ones.
Got a beautifull brand new sidepanel with a lay-in window made by Martma:

I hope you enjoyed this little update, more to come.;)
Damn! How'd you get your heatshrink to be so uniform?!
Finally some pics!!:up: Looks fantastic as usual and glad the rad made it unscathed. I knew you would give it a good home. :yepp:
PS....Congrats again on the new little OCer & fishin' buddy!!! If he's half the LN2 pourer his "old man" is he will be a good one!! :D
Your...sleeving...is...so...beautiful...
woohooo, keep it up bro.
Great job with the sleeving and the new window. :D
Where did you get the usb connectors for your front panel thing?
way to make me want to get a new psu and resleeve !
I take that as a compliment, thanks. :)
Just follow this guide: http://forum.sysprofile.de/mdpc-mill...tml#post515303
Unfortunately it's in german but the pictures speak louder than words. ;)
Thanks Pete! You know i would have been totally lost without you. The rad fits like a glove!
Gonna have to teach the little boy to pour as soon as he can walk. :D
Thanks Beep. ;)
Cheers mate! i will. :)
The USB connectors are from the USB bracket that comes with the mobo. I've modded it and extended and sleeved the cables. The front panel is a handcrafted Zeus original murder part. :D
Do it Jesse, do it!! :D The Enermax is a very beefy PSU but a nightmare to sleeve because of all the split cables it has.
Yup, double sided tape, that's all.
Last week i had to pull the hammond boxes of the PA 120.2 and believe me, this took quite a bit of force. I had to use a plastic ruler as a lever to undo the boxes.
Unfortunately it's a bit hectic at Zeus' place so no updates but i hope to post more pics this weekend.
The powdercoat on the midplate was not done properly so i brought it back to the powdercoater to do it again, so this will delay the build quite a bit. :(
More to come...

Cute li'l killcoil haha
Updates look great Zeus.. ill be redoing my build this winter going inverted!
Also I like your front plate idea.. might have to borrow it!
Also how did you do that window? I need to do one when I switch to inverted
Easy...send an email (in German, lol) paypal some money, send sidepanel to Germany and wait...
Seriously, i have had it done by a German guy, he did an absolute l top-job. The window sits perfect flush with the panel and the cut out is simply perfect.
PM me for more info. ;)

Looking good so far btw
My working place doesn't have enough light to take decent pictures so excuse me for skipping pictures of most of the actual building process.
I will make it up with pictures of it's current state :D.
It is up and running but not finished, i still need to do lots of cable management.

Very very impressive my friend, congrats with the little one
Hot damn, that's a sexy build. Very nice Zeus!
Fill that loop up!
Amazing work my friend.
Thanks Bart, and how do you know about my newborn son? :)
Thanks BA, good to see, you're still around!
Uh, look closer, it's already filled up-- just water, no additions other than a silver coil.
Thanks man. ;)
Ah, I didn't see the water line! :D Good work!
That is a diffcult question to answer and would require a temp probe in the lower section to give you an accurate answer.
Judging by the CPU and GPU temps i'm not too concerned as they seem fine to me. I guess the mesh in the sidepanel is enough to exit the hot air from the rad.
There's not too much difference in temps between the PA120.3 + PA120.2 and this 480 rad too, something i was a little bit worried about.
This single rad is much easier to maintain as i could not remove the dust build up in between the two rads in the old situation.
I also think that a quad rad looks better than a triple as the gap is nicely filled now. :)
Thanks for the response Zeus, I was curious as I'm in the midst of my TJ07 build and was going to have the fans on the outside pulling the air from the vacant spot through the XSPC 480 rad. Was always curious about the temps in the vacant spot... :-)
By the way, what are your temps? Considering your GPU's are the first and the CPU is the last? Would like to know your temp results.. :-)
Those are nice temps Zeus, you have any load temps? Thanks for the responses. I appreciate it...
