Crap how do you post the link in so it works ??
You need to log in, make the result public in your ORB account and copy the Comapre URL it gives you, then in XS Message click on the link icon at the top of the window and paste the compare url in the window that opens....
nice score by the way, looking forward to seeing the compare url...
Thank you Kazgirl i try it again http://service.futuremark.com/result...&resultType=14 my rig hit a CPU bottelneck last night try using some video cards over clock that have work good for me in the past and the rig slow down i think the Phenom just can not driver the rig any faster why been clock at 3.2ghz in my bench testing setting. I did hit 113 FPS score in Canyon flight test (test of crossfire) so crossfire running darn good . Again thank you for the help Kazgirl i'am a old fart and not that good with this intertnet stuff like you young people are but i'am trying.

Grats on the new score and mother board Ben Brown
Well i took my best shot at Ben brown but my rig has hit a wall at 17,131 for the first time my rig slow down when i started to over clock my video cards faster. I never seen that before on my rig . Not sure if the 750w PS is running out of power to drive the 4 video cards when overclock and the cards see the system short on power pull them self back or it could be with my CPU only able to hit a max over clock of 3.2 ghz there not enought CPU power to drive the 4 video cards faster . You guys got any ideas ???
I am almost 3000pts behind now...... I guess I need to do something...I keep falling lower on the chart
My first guess would be the power supply. Do you have any case fans or extra drives that you can unplug to see if the extra juice makes a difference. I think that is the reason I am having trouble getting too much higher of an overclock on my machine is because of not enough juice and I only have three.
Well, my PSU is about to croke..It is smelling somthing nasty..But, I was able to finally run both cards and a good OC and here it is... Let me volt mod the other card and get it above stock.. And i My friend will have the record MuWahahahaha:yepp:

Time for an update MSIMAX;)
I just wonder if, I was able to set a 3-Way SLI ... I got 4 of those 128 shaders 9800GT's ( Re branded 8800GTS I guess...) to test, all clock around 800 GPU/ 2000 Shaders/ 1100 Memory, without Vmod's.
ATI's are the way to go, but can't CF them on nvidia chipset :( , something that AMD/nVidia should work together to enable both CF/SLI in the chipsets, similarly to I***l X58 Chipset.
No, vCPU in BIOS is 1.58~1.60v.

Still nowhere near you 18K plus guys.... I'm still wating for my M3A79-T which I hope will boost the 9950BE a bit..... on this SB600 M3A32-MVP even the new 9950 will only do 3.1Ghz stable....
If anyone has any tips on BIOS settings to try with the 125W 9950, and M3A32-MVP, I'd love to hear them.... current settings are:
CPU Multi: x15.5
CPU Freq: 200
NB/CPU Multi: x12
NB Freq: 2.4Ghz
RAM: DDR2-1066 Unganged
CPU Voltage: 1.45v
CPU/NB Voltage: 1.45v
RAM Voltage: 2.1v
CPU VDDA: 2.8v
CPU Tweak: Enabled
Go into the BIOS and under the Adv.tab and then down to Chipset . Make sure your running the cards in the blue slots. Under port 2 which is your top GPU under Gen2 High Speed Mode, changed that to Autonomous Switch then down to Slot Power limit changed that to 200-225(goTVoltage had it to 255) on Air. Link Width to 16x... Do the same thing to Port 11 which is your other GPU. NExt under Advanced, down to Hyper Transport.Isochronous Flow-Control- Enable that....Try that and do another test
Hi HG..
I've got the PCI-E slots configured OK...
Got them set at Autonoymous and x16 Link Width, havn't changed the Slot Power though its still at default 75W.... when I tried increasing this before, PC would fail to POST....
I'll give that and the HT suggestin a try now and let you know what happens...
Thanks
@ Kazgirl -I really do recomend benchmarking under xp32. Using Vista (esp X64) seemd to be losing a fair amount in the CPU score although i have noticed mnor changes (improvement) in SM3 on Vista X64.
What Gener_AL said
64 bit OSes need more power to run
the most I've been able to get my 9950 to run Vista Ulimate 64bit was @3.250 with 1.55 vcore
WinXP and Vista Home Premium 32bit I can do 3.440@1.55v GHz no problem
Also increasing your PCI-E speed will give you a boost to 3DMark score
I run mine at 119 MHz
Either increase the PCIE Frequency or enable Auto Express and then back it down with AOD
For me, if I did both ,things became unstable.
Hi HG..
Well I tried the HT Flow setting and the Slot Power changes.... it did POST this time, but after 3 runs of 3DM06 all 3 showed a drop in performance with an average 1018 lower 3dmark score.... thanks for the suggestion though..!!
Hi Gener_AL
Thanks for the tip, I could use 32-bit but I use (2 x 2GB) 4GB of RAM, so use 64-bit OS for this reason.... I know that it will yield lower OC in general. But I'll keep it in mind....
Hi AMDDeathstar..
Thanks for the suggestions on that as well, I have already got Auto Express enabled, and my PCI-E runs at 124Mhz as a result, I've tried it enabled and disabled with manually adjusted PCI-E speeds, but the best result seems to be with Auto Express enabled... I also have CPU Tweak enabled.
The 9950BE does boot to Vista at 3.2Ghz and even at 3.3Ghz but fails to even complete a single run of 3Dmark Vantage / 3DMark06... and proves to be unstable.... I was hoping for better than this, but maybe the new SB750 mobo will help when it arrives, which I'm hoping will be today or tomorrow...!!
The highest I can get stable enough to complete 3DMark on the SB600 is 3.1Ghz, I've tried increasing the CPU Voltage and CPU/NB Voltage up as high as 1.5v but still nothing....
Thanks for the tips guys its appreciated...!!
Hey No problem Kazgirl, just with my machine if my NB@2400 I can boot into windows and be stable....But the Hyper Transport.Isochronous Flow-Control, I need to have it Enabled in order to boot the NB@2600 and also the HT@2600, If I dont have it enabled it just wont boot. Try overclocking with the CPU tweak OFF at first,, you can enable it after in windows by the red dot in AOD...Just looking at your sig, I see your running bios 1202,Update it and see if you can Overclock it more, I dont think 1202 is stable.ALso you might have to turn down your PCIE, I see you have it at 124, IN Bios leave it on Auto, then you should be able to OC the NB and HT more, I find anything over the 115, its not stable or even just wont boot

Maybe its just me, but am I missing something with my HD3870? Its clocked @ 877\2.5GHz with DNA 8.8, CPU @ 3.4GHz 380FSB, memory @ 1216MHz, yet 3DMark06 only returns a score of 11,701. I would of thought somewhere between 12,500-13,000 would be more like it
Ok that is it, I making making a final run for the top spot. I am going to give it everything I got. Be afraid, be very afraid......I am very scared. I just know something is going to melt..... :D
@Jawin:
Great run!!
I know you're saving higher card clocks for near future :p: 18.5K by any chance??
@Ket:
Maybe it's Vista?? Have you tried XP??
@Ben_Brown
Can't wait!!
Well Im breaking 13,200 with a HD2900XT (512bit bus)..........with lower clocks on the gpu, gpu memory and the cpu than you......sooo:shrug:
also 16,xxx for crossfire 4850's seems very low to me compared with my card, 17,000 to 18,000 would be what I would have expected, and with crossfire 4870 giving 20,000-21,000
TBH it's wired, but once I had corrupted XP Pro x64 is such a way that my 3DMark scores were like 25% down but CPU intense applications were working fine. That happened after some update either to Windows or to GFX driver. I've reinstall OS and everything went back to normal.
updated:up:
I'm not liking Vista, it's tougher to get stabler higher clocks
my CPU score dropped off going from XP to Vista
This isn't going to be as easy as I thought
I may have to switch to Vantage
Edit:This was a test run I'll give it a few more tries
http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...nchr/3dtri.jpg
Thats crazy results for the same hardware and just different OS...
200mhz more with Phenom should actually improve the score more than 250-300points i would think...

Man that is an awesome score. You are so close to breaking 20,000 with a phenom. That would be great. You have to go out and order another 4870....come on quadfire....woohooo!!! Good Job!!
Also there went my chance at taking back the top spot. I just got the #4 3780 in today, but I am waiting on my Corsair 1000w PSU to come in before I can overclock everything to the max and make a run. I am hoping for at least 18,500 though. We shall see.
Thank guys
No more vid cards
My plan for awhlie has been to replace the heatpipe coolers
I got the guys at work to cut a copper plate to cover the pwn's fully, now I just need to attach cooling to it
Then I have to figure out what I want to do with the NB and SB
If it wasn't for those damn heatpipes the NB block would've been replaced along time ago.
now that I can get past 3.55GHz without blue screening I want to see just how far I can go
:cord:
Show no mercy. Take no prisoners.
nice work man
Well I went ahead and ran some benches last night to see what my 4x 3870s could pull off. It seems that in 3DMark06 they are severely CPU limited. So I hope to at least break 18.5K once I get my new PSU to give me a little more stability when overclocked.

3.5 ghz and you should break 19k ;)
imo
Standard 1280-1024 (17925)
1920-1600, 4AA, 16AF (17504)
Vista 64
M3A79-T
9950 (140w) 3.3
1066 ram
2 4870X2s (800-900)
That was 1920-1200
Well going from 3366 to 3415 brought me about 400 extra points in 3DMark06. That is only 49MHz per core. That really tells me how CPU bound these four cards are. If I can get bench stable with another 50MHz per core I should hit 19,000. Maybe when it gets colder.
I went from Auto on ACC to +2,+2,+4,+4. I am going to test it soon to see what I get when I completely turn off ACC.
i need to get oof my a$$ and volt mod the other 4850...i am getting kicked down the latter again..:p: Nice job guys.. Just think by Dec. we might have a few break into 20,000
OMFG congrats on those scores
need to clock my stuff moar :D
